Negative experience: I previously went to another dentist to get a cleaning done and they wanted all this money out my pockets even though I have Insurance. I came here instead and they did an awesome job!! Saw me way more quickly, everyone was very friendly, the man who cleaned my teeth was quick and efficient 10/10 PRICING WASNT TRANSPARENT THE SECOND TIME I VISITED THEM. just be sure to go over pricing twice with them.

Negative experience: I do not recommend this place. Please stay away from it. It is not worth the money I had a bridge put in cost me over $2500 only had it in for two years and now having to get it replaced because it’s causing gum damage also I was told that I should never had to put a bridge on because I had weak bone with the tooth that it is attached to. I also purchased a partial that is nothing but metal across the bottom of my mouth when I eat it flip-flops I went two times to get it fixed and got nowhere. All they kept doing was shaving my teeth which were affecting it. I had to go to another dentist in another town and I’m having to pay over $10,000 to fix the damage they did on top of the money I wasted with them. Please stay away from this company the one in Midland and Odessa

Negative experience: The worst I've seen will never go back, I would rather take a chance going to Mexico. Service that bad. The Dentist was really nice and polite, but that lady with the extra set of lips was very unprofessional and the guy the big guy that teeth cleaning was just lost

Fantastic experience: The check in was overly long and repetitive from my last visit. I arrived early and it was still a half hour past my appointment time before I saw dental assistant for X-rays. The dentist was thorough and professional. The cleaning technician was sensitive to my needs.

Negative experience: Unfortunately a one star is the lowest I can go. My daughter is literally traumatized from her experience. Very unprofessional staff. My daughter had to get some fillings done and he went to drilling away on her right away before the numbing medicine could take effect. She told him she was in pain and he gave her more numbing medicine which did not help and when she tried telling him he dismissed it and kept going. There’s a small hole in her cheek on the inside and her gums are still very swollen and painful. We have an appointment with a different clinic to check her out and see what damage has been done. This whole clinic will be turned in.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly and answered all the questions I had. I went in for an extraction and within 5 minutes of them starting, I was finished. I was surprised at how fast they were. They even were thorough about the after care. Absolutely going back to them

Negative experience: Every time I go to get my teeth cleaned I feel uneasy. Bliss dental, the people that work there are so unfriendly and non care attitude. Very unfriendly and not so professional. Place is not clean. Wish they treat their patients better and welcome them rather than treat them uncaringly. My appointment was @ 10:00am I had to be on the dental chair almost one hour. No apology. Just a tough place to go to.

Negative experience: I went there for a cleaning and the dental hygienist kept poking my gums and my gums got inflamed for 5 days after the visit. I also asked to get a copy of the scans they did on me, they told me I have to pay 25$ fee. Overall it was unpleasant experience and won’t go there again.

Negative experience: If I could give less stars, I would. The front desk lady has a terrible attitude, not welcoming at all. I waited an hour and a half before I got up to ask if I would be helped soon or was forgotten about. She rudely asked for the paperwork back that she never gave me to begin with. At that point I was ready to walk out. Everyone else was professional and great. Probably will not go back. I’d rather have pain and be seen somewhere else.

Positive experience: Getting an appointment was easy even for a first timer with them. Front desk team was friendly and welcoming. Wait time was bit longer than anticipated. Dentist explained findings from the examination and suggested treatment plan with cost implications in detail. Overall it was good experience and I would recommend this place for all your dental needs.

Negative experience: Had to wait for close to an hour to be seen. By the time I did get seen, I didn't have enough time to get the cleaning done. They gave me a treatment plan for work I didn't ask about, but no plan for the whole reason I went there. The dentist was extremely nice, but the entire experience was incredibly disappointing.

Fantastic experience: Staff is very friendly and attentive. Dentist, hygienist, and even the X-Ray tech all took the time to listen to any concerns without any added pressure to "add on services" like I have experienced with many dental offices recently. Relaxed environment.

Fantastic experience: I’m not usually a fan of going to the dentist. Novocain typically doesn’t work well for me, and in the past my last two tooth extractions each took over an hour — painful, stressful, and exhausting. This time was completely different. This dentist had my tooth out in about 10 minutes. It wasn’t painless, but it was nothing compared to the pain I was in before I came in, and the whole experience was so much easier than what I’ve been through with other dentists. I’m very thankful I found this dentist and truly appreciate how efficient and gentle they were. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: Update: The Texas State Board of Dental Examiners has taken disciplinary action against Dr. Galloway. This is public information published by the Board. I’ve included a picture of the letter I received, and I recommend that anyone considering this practice review the Board’s official records. I regret having to leave such a negative review, but I feel it's my duty to share my experience with Bliss Dental. I went to them for a crown procedure, and it turned into a nightmare. First and foremost, the crown their dentist, Dr. Nathan Galloway, placed on my tooth had a gaping hole underneath it, as confirmed by my new dentist (see attached x-ray). This clearly showed that the crown was not installed correctly. What shocked me even more was the way that he handled my treatment. He attempted to adjust the crown's height by carving two of my healthy teeth without my consent. Not only was this a breach of trust, but it was also extremely painful, and he did not numb my upper teeth for this procedure. When I voiced my discomfort, he seemed dismissive, claiming it was almost done. Also, at the beginning of the procedure, the dentist injected anesthesia hastily, not waiting for it to take effect, and proceeded to work on my tooth immediately after the injection while I was still in pain. I had to endure more injections after complaining about the agony I was experiencing. My subsequent visit to a different dentist revealed the extent of their negligence. I was informed that the crown needed replacement and the two healthy teeth he tampered with required correction. Furthermore, my interaction with Bliss Dental’s manager was equally disappointing. When I offered to provide images and x-rays as evidence of the substandard work, she didn't even bother to review them and returned my money. In light of this appalling experience, I feel compelled to file an official complaint with the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners and my insurance company to ensure that future patients are not subjected to the same ordeal. It's crucial for the sake of patients' well-being and safety that they are aware of the issues I faced at this dental office. Please exercise caution when considering Bliss Dental, and I hope my review serves as a warning to others.

Negative experience: I went for my appt. I need a tooth pulled out , it turns out it was the wrong tooth. If he would of really exam my mouth right I would of got the wrong tooth pulled out . And they don't do payment plans I don't recommend them at all. He didn't care .

Fantastic experience: The staff was so nice and attentive. I needed to get appt as ao8n as possible due to a filling fall7ng out while I was out of state. They consulted and got me in the same day to get work done. The dentist was very polite, professional and excellent and gave me my cost for the procedure before starting and did an awesome job first time around. Thank u for be so accommodating and resolving my issue the same day!!! I would definitely come back to them again.

Negative experience: This office is severely lacking proper education on how to bill insurance—every single staff member included. I was asked to provide both my medical and dental insurance cards, which I did. I was then told that the cards had to be from the same company and that they couldn’t bill if they were from different entities. For context, my medical insurance is with UnitedHealthcare (UHC) and my dental insurance is with Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS). I explained multiple times that I do not have a medical policy with BCBS—only dental. The staff member told me that if they billed BCBS alone, it would be denied because they “can’t bill my UHC medical since they must be the same company.” What? That’s not how insurance works. She then called her supervisor, who apparently confirmed this incorrect information. When I asked for them to call and verify, she said it would take over two hours to get through. My appointment was at 10:20, and I had already driven 45 minutes to get there. This is completely unacceptable. I’ve already filed several complaints with licensing because this is a clear example of improper training and poor patient service. Your office desperately needs comprehensive education in insurance billing.

The pictures I took were no more than 3 feet away from where I was sitting, IN the exam room. I went for a consultation and will not be returning.

Fantastic experience: I was in West Texas for work (only my second time ever out here!) when I managed to do the impossible, break a crown while eating a baked potato at Jason’s Deli. Yes, a potato. Not steak. Not nuts. A potato. Bliss Dental swooped in like heroes. They got me in quickly, the staff was unbelievably kind, and the doctor took his time explaining everything to me while making sure my tooth was perfect again. I left extremely no impressed and honestly a little jealous I don’t live closer.

Positive experience: Usually a great experience here. Last visit wasn’t the same. Felt like a cash grab more than a dental visit. I just wanted my 6 month cleaning but because the doctor “recommended” something else I couldn’t get that done, unless i did his recommendation which would have cost me $160. So instead of a free cleaning paid for by insurance, I had to leave with nothing done. Gave it 3 stars because my many other visits here haven’t been like this.

Previously, there had been a dentist there that did a great job and over the years I’ve had a rotating group with the most recent dentist, not doing exams correctly, and ignoring or not recognizing problems that have worsened overtime and will now cost me a great deal, not to mention irreparable damage that should’ve been caught earlier In my regular check ups and cleanings. Worst experience at a dental office. Staff does not seem to take their job seriously. I did not feel comfortable or cared for the last few times I visited there. Do yourself a favor and find another dentist office.

My husband said the dentist seemed rushed to do the extraction and lacked bedside manners. Gabby was great and personable though!

Negative experience: Bottom of the barrel. Not only was the office dirty (bugs, holes in the wall, dirty bathroom), they didn’t finish my appointment because it was “time for lunch”. I asked how long it would take to fill the cavity and the dentist said 20 minutes tops, but I would have to come back later in the day or another day because it was time for lunch. When I questioned that with the scheduling assistant, she got sassy and said, “I don’t work through lunch.” When I called back later that day, it went straight to voicemail and the voicemail box was full. The only thing good about it was my dental hygienist, Burt.

Fantastic experience: I had an emergency tooth pain all week end Monday I called two dental clinics I have had procedures preformed. Both told me we are full today and can’t see you. I called Bliss dental and the young lady scheduled me an appointment two hours later. Saw Dr and he scheduled an extraction appointment three hours later Every one in the clinic went far beyond what I needed to get relief from pain. Midland is Lucky to have them.

Negative experience: It felt like you're in a factory mill! My appointment was 1:30. Got my teeth cleaned at around 2:45. 0 rapport, and everything was rushed. I felt like the hygenist was juggling 4 patients in an hour. Would not recommend this place unless you're ok with the factory style of service!

Positive experience: Went to Midkiff location. Very knowledgeable dentist. Friendly staff but they don’t know how to schedule properly. First appointment waited 20 to be called back. Second appointment waited 40 minutes before I saw the dentist for my filling. They also want up front payment BEFORE services given. I thought that was different.

Fantastic experience: Saw all the horrible reviews and began to question my decision but my hand to heaven this was the absolute BEST dental experience I have ever had!!! From Laura at the front desk to Ashley the Dental Asst, Bert, the Dental Hygienist, to Dr Galloway…every single one of them were so very kind, gentle, and informative. I won’t go anywhere else. I think all the bad reviews must’ve come from competing Dentist office !!! Love love love these folks! 10 out of 10! I definitely recommend!!!

Negative experience: I did not feel I had a Good experience. The ladies in the front seemed aggravated to help. Doctor, I think his name was McLean was with me less than 3 to 5 minutes. I did not feel he took the time to even explain to me what he needed to do. He sent a lady in to tell Me what the cost was going to be. She was unfriendly, rude, and acted like it was a bother to even try and explain anything. I can say the young lady that took my x-rays. I believe her name was Cristia or Christy was a sweetheart. She was patient took her time and could tell that I was filled with anxiety. I explained to the lady at front I believe her name is Gaby, Cristia, and to the doctor, my anxiety. Only Cristia Acknowledged it!!! The lady that brought in the itemized statement, when I told her I didn’t have $900 today her response was OK. Let us know when you do. Being new to Midland I was extremely nervous to even try a new dentist and I found that this is not the office

Negative experience: Ive had braces for 2 years through bliss dental. Progress on my teeth is little to none. The office took on a new orthodontist and is now requesting I start a new 18-24 month procedure with a new payment. Their offer for the original and current open treatment is that they can remove them. So I've lost all the time and money from first treatment with out my teeth being fixed. Highly disappointed and dissatisfied with the management and do not recommend.

After every other place told me they could fix it after a consultation and 3 week wait for a follow up appt… I walked in Bliss dental and had my tooth fixed in an hour. Negative experience: I tried to get a simple teeth cleaning but was refused service since I wouldn’t accept x-rays while pregnant. I question this office’s motives when it comes to patient care. Service was on 1/30/25.

Negative experience: The staff is friendly but the doctors suck. The dentist wanted to charge me for an older treatment plan from 5+ years ago (I moved out of town and came back) that I got fixed already. He prescribed me antibiotics last week and when I came back for my follow up appointment, he didn’t even asked me about how my tooth felt. They’re careless and only worried about getting you in and out.
