Positive experience: I really like my teeth the toothbrush paste good my teeth feel so clean. Only thing I need to take easy was very one thing at a time elderly the staff is awesome . Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Tara Burgess and Dr. Lew at Aspen Dental in Corpus Christi. From the very first appointment through major dental surgery with full upper and lower implants, they took incredible care of me every step of the way. This was a big, life changing procedure, and they never once made me feel rushed, scared, or alone in the process. Dr. Burgess and Dr. Lew were patient, compassionate, and extremely thorough in explaining everything before, during, and after surgery. Their professionalism and skill gave me confidence and peace of mind when I needed it most. The entire team was kind, supportive, and genuinely cared about my comfort and well being from start to finish. They treated me like a person, not just a patient, and that meant everything during such a major surgery. If you are facing implants or any serious dental work and want a team you can truly trust, I highly recommend Aspen Dental in Corpus and especially Dr. Burgess and Dr. Lew. Negative experience: If I could give zero starts I would..this place is a crock!! I went in to see about a broken tooth and was given a $4500 treatment plan that I wasn't there for. The tooth extraction would have been 450.00 but I had to pay that before I could schedule it. And they guy doing the estimates looked like he was on something and hadn't slept in days! Totally unprofessional and the receptionist just same!! Dont go if you need real dental work! Go somewhere else!!

Negative experience: My husband and I both walked out of our new patient appointments today. We were BOTH informed we have periodontal disease and needed thousands in work done. We go to the dentist every 6 months and recently moved to this area. So we set an appointment up with this joke of a company. We have never had problems with our teeth. They tried to get us to sign up for all these extra insanely expensive things. Told me they needed to do cat scans on 2 teeth today and use lasers for the periodontal disease. We both keep our teeth in great shape. They asked how much our insurance pays and told us that we could apply for a loan through Aspen Dental. I got up and walked out. Going to find a dentist that is not a big chain dental corporation. I decided to look them up on Toktok to find out this is a common trend with this company. Person after person after person just so many people had their own horror story with this company. Plus Aspen is involved in several lawsuits. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

Negative experience: Two stars for the amazing people that work here. Two stars because of that friendly service, and staff know their stuff. Break it down to why you need this, and that done. However, the waiting time needs to be shorten. I don't know if it's one Dentist/Doctor (respectfully speaking) that's making runs? I don't if it's the way they thoroughly exam people, and making sure they're not leaving things out medically. I really don't have an idea what goes behind the scenes of a dental visit. Despite going to the dentist must of my life. But for my visit I just wanted a cleaning. I will deal with other issues that I need done in my mouth later. Because I do have a chipped tooth in the back of my mouth. Unfortunately, they didn't even give me a cleaning. After waiting almost 2 hours of seeing the Dentist, I just got frustrated. Listen, I know Dental offices get busy. I know the world doesn't evolve around me. I get that. But 2 hours is the first time I've needed to wait at a dentist appointment to just talk to the Dentist. No waiting for a cleaning. Just to discuss what issues I'm having in my mouth. So I'm not going to say whether or not I recommend this place. Because I do like the stuff people here. Even though this is my first visit. But what I will say is that you need to not have anything to do, or anywhere to go when you make an appointment here. You will be waiting. Plus, have dentil Insurance when you come here. The prices here is going to hit your wallet. However, they do have some kind of Dental financial plan. Nevertheless, out of pocket cost still will hit you hard if more need to be done in your mouth.

Fantastic experience: My first time there and I was fortunate to be able to get all the work I needed done the same day. They gave me great communication leading up to my appointment. From the front desk to the dentist they were awesome. I felt happy getting a great service and they would answer any questions I had. I get nervous at the dentist and they gave lots of reassurance that everything would be fine and it was. Thank you to all of the team of Tara (everyone working with her) She was amazing. Her and Zoe have a great taste of music and made me feel right at home.

Fantastic experience: I’m very impressed with the entire staff. I made an appointment on-line for the following Monday. After completing the questioner (on a IPAD), I was called in for a set of complete x-rays, spoke to the dentist, Ms. Burgess, about my situation. Abbica, dental hygienist, was very thorough and gentle performing a deep clean of my teeth. A specialist (forgot her name) performed a 3D scan to create an image of my teeth- to make a partial for my missing teeth. Amazing-I will be picking up my partial in 10 days.

Negative experience: Came in to get estimate on dentures. Was xrayed and checked. They told me to sit in lobby and they will call me back to go over options. After a while, they said they were too busy and for me to leave. Said they would call Monday with options. Well, never called, so I called back a few days later. They said they are too busy. I guess they don’t need new business.

Negative experience: I cannot believe this place has more than 1 stars. Aspen dental is a SCAM and they are trained to get the most money out of you possible as a corporate chain. I went to a checkup appointment as a new patient and was told I had 11 cavities that needed to be filled and periodontal disease. They quoted me $2300 with insurance for a treatment plan and basically told me to sign on the dotted line. I felt very pressured and decided to get a second opinion at a private dentist (I always take good care of my teeth and never had gum pain/bleeding so I was skeptical). The private dentist said I DO NOT have any gum disease and have 4 cavities with a total price of $150 for all fillings and cleanings. I can’t even imagine paying of $2300 of unneeded treatments all because Aspen wanted to get the most money out of my possible. Not to mention when I called and asked for at home treatment plans because I was so worried about my teeth decaying and couldn’t afford their treatment plan, I never received a phone call back. This company does not care about you. seriously do not go here- I am trying to warn people who were in my position and just picked the first company that came up when searching their insurance. Please go to private local dentists instead of chains like this one.

Negative experience: I scheduled my appointment a month in advance, only for it to be canceled just days beforehand because they “only have one dental hygienist.” This isn’t the first time, either—I’ve given this office multiple chances, and they still can’t seem to get it together. To make things worse, they told me the next available appointment wouldn’t be for another two months. That’s unacceptable. Save yourself the frustration and go elsewhere.

Negative experience: Scheduled appt with call center and went in for appt and not happy. Didn't get done what we scheduled for. We should of been notified if they didnt have hygienist to do cleaning that day. Waste of time

Fantastic experience: I had to get my teeth extracted and the procedure was so quick, effective and the dentist and assistant made me feel so comfortable. They communicated with me to ensure I didn't feel any pain. The ladies in the front as so kind and knowledge. Scheduling an appointment as a new patient was supet easy online. Negative experience: Had to get a simple tooth extraction and without insurance would have costed 1000$. I have had a tooth that was both a root canal and a molar pulled before that costed around 500$ with no insurance. I don’t understand how a 15 minute tooth extraction can cost 1000$.

Fantastic experience: On October 7th, everyone - from the front desk clerk to Dr. Burgess - was accommodating and professional. Her dental assistant was personable and attentive. Dr. Burgess immediately shook my hand and put me at ease. She listened to me, asked me questions, walked me through my X-rays (BEFORE & AFTER), and was incredibly thorough. I joked with her that my inner 8 year old that was petrified of dentists was thanking her profusely for finally giving me a calm and painless experience. She is intelligent, as it showed in all the details she shared about my procedure while she worked on me. I can’t stress it enough: I had an outstanding experience today because you can tell when someone loves their job. She had good intentions, and it was evident in my whole experience.

Negative experience: I used to love Aspen and would recommend to anyone I talked to about teeth to go there but I will not be recommending them anymore. They are not inviting at all over the phone and the girl made my appointment and she gave me the date for a week later so I didn’t get to make my appointment and couldn’t see the doctor I live almost an hour away and it’s not easy getting off work to make the trip just to not be seen by the doctor and also treated badly by the staff. I would have left no stars if possible. That was the worst experience and I’m just trying to get my teeth taken care of. It took me 30 minutes just to make the appointment over the phone because she acted like it was an inconvenience that some times didn’t work for me and like I should know when they have availability. Hopefully the doctor can get their staff in check before it takes too big of a toll on their business.

Fantastic experience: I just had my first appointment at aspen. I knew going in I had a lot of work that needed to be done because it had been 5 years since going to the dentist. Had to get gum disease care to start, which definitely wasn’t a walk in the park to experience, but Abby was SOOOOOO helpful and reassuring to making sure I was comfortable and okay thru the process, even after I’m pretty sure they squeezed me in when they didn’t have a lot of time anyways. Ceslie also was so nice in helping me understand the process of everything i needed and helping me not feel overwhelmed with it all. It is very clear the ladies here love what they do and genuinely care about people as human beings, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

Fantastic experience: First, I went to my Regular Dentist with a hurting tooth. He referred me to endodontist. Endodontist could not see me till three weeks. Not what you want to hear when a tooth is acting up. Went here to Aspen they took care of EVERYTHING THAT DAY! Cleaning, scaling, x-rays, temp crown. Thank you ASPEN! The prep for the crown was painless even the shots were gentle.

Fantastic experience: I was in pain with a broken chipped tooth. I called around and couldn't find a dentist that would see me immediately. I call Aspen Dental and they told me to come right in. No appointment needed. I went in and saw Dr. Burgass.no waiting. She pulled my tooth. I had no pain, no bleeding, no swollen. She did an excellent job. I definitely recommend her.

Negative experience: UPDATE: After more than two months, I’m still waiting to talk with a doctor. They asked me $ 17k and I could not even speak with a doctor about my treatment. Scam. Stay away from this place. I was looking for a dentist as I moved here recently. I wanted to do just a dental cleaning and a general check up. Bear in mind that I has been visited by three different dentists from January to March of this year, that found nothing more than two/three little cavities (treated with simple fillings). Long story short, my visit at Aspen ended with 5 crowns to do (crazy), teeth to be removed, severe periodontal disease (how could be that three different dentists, just a couple of months before, didn’t notice this severe periodontal disease???), deep cleaning to be done and a…$17k quotation plan to have all the job done. I was speechless. Moreover, the visit was so fast that I saw the doctor just for two minutes and I didn’t have the chance to make any question about my mouth apparently in horrible condition. I asked to speak with the doctor again, and they told me she would have called me “later”. Never heard about them anymore. How that, you are ready to ask me $17k and I could even do few questions to the doctor about my situation? How humiliating. Never in my life somebody tried to fool me like this. By the way, I decided to give them a second chance and see how they work, so I called few days later to ask for my (originally aimed) simple dental cleaning. They answer that they cannot do that, as I was diagnosed with severe periodontal disease. So I would have accepted the 2k deep cleaning or nothing. Oh I see. Does the diagnosis seem now convenient, doesn’t it?

Fantastic experience: The dentist, Dr Burgess, is extremely knowledgeable. She did not give me what I wanted, but she is going to give me what I need. I will probably thank her for it. Negative experience: My dentist had retired so I decided to give this place a try. Very polite and professional staff all through my visit until the end. I had made an appointment for a cleaning and general exam. They took a bunch of x rays and then in the business office told me I could not receive a general cleaning that I needed a more extensive treatment. I told them I just want a general cleaning that my insurance covers. I was told " Your insurance won't allow us to do a general cleaning." and that I needed more extensive [and expensive] treatment. I called Blue Cross Blue Shield and they told me that what I was told is FALSE. Basically Lied to. As I see the reviews listed I see lots of patients with identical or similar concerns. Aspen refused to give me the general cleaning my insurance pays for but tried to get me to pay more for extensive care I did not want. I will go somewhere else and get the cleaning and will never use or recommend Aspen Dental

Negative experience: A Dental Hygienist picked at my gums until they bled then said my gums were bleeding. The Dentist said I had a gum infection and I had to pay 4 thousand dollar's or get lost no prescription for infection because I didn't have one. 2 other Dentists said I was fine. I got my teeth cleaned somewhere else and that Dentist said because I have crowns my gums are what's expected. Rose shouldn't be working for a Doctor she told me I wasn't in Network and messed up a referral to the point someone could die. They advertise they have Endodontists but told me to go somewhere else because they really do not have one at that location the Aspen in Victoria told me. I got a root canal repaired and the Dentist refused to patch it and that's what the Surgeon recommended because the tooth needed to heal. She wanted to do a new crown on an infected root canal. STAY AWAY FROM HER IF YOU VALUE YOUR LIFE.

Negative experience: The most expensive dental cleaning I ever get . Its more than $3000 minus the insurance . It caught me off guard , for I really wanted my teeth to be cleaned . And telling it to my colleagues who lived in Corpus Christi they were surprised because they can get the same procedure for $40 without insurance . The insurance and the overcharging of this dental clinics are pure business ! I felt robbed. .

Negative experience: The worst place ever my lifetime, I would never go back , they think all people are rich, no care at all just about money ,after my visit I saw a video on YouTube that Aspen is a scam organization, now I believe it, I was about to get scammed, they wanted 1700 for a special cleaning for a total estimate bill of 11,000 RIDICULOUS!!! you have to many people there to pay that's why you're fees ARE EXTREMELY HIGH!!! Negative experience: My son had his initial consult and was told he had gingivitis. He has no symptoms of it. I paid the $200 in advance for it to be treated because I wanted to trust them. After returning home I questioned the diagnosis and checked our Corpus Aspen Dental reviews on BBB and learned that this is not an uncommon occurrence at this location. The reviews were terrible and I wish I had checked BBB before going to Aspen. I called them, cancelled his upcoming appt and they said they will issue a refund. It should post to my account in 7-10 business days. Hopefully that will happen.

Negative experience: They said that I needed a deep cleaning that would cost me over 2 thousand dollars. I told him no that I only wanted the regular cleaning that my insurance would pay. He told me that was not an option. I'm a 72 year old retired veteran on social security, at my age I'm not going to start paying 2 thousand dollars for teeth cleaning.

Fantastic experience: Went in for a consultation considering I haven't been to the dentist and literal years. I was extremely worried that I was going to be judged or chastised. Negative experience: I give them a zero rating. As we are all going through life's trials, medical care, especially preventive medical care is paramount. I frown on any dentist that jacks up prices on basic medical care. Aspen dental does. You get basic care after shelling out a high price.

Positive experience: Staff was amazing but I was there for hours no cleaning only X-rays I was in so much pain and no pain meds prescribed even tho they said they would I almost passed out in pain. I waited another 35 min to be told it was very expensive and down payment off 900 was needed are they crazy

Positive experience: Very Expensive place. Nice professional people but WAY WAY too expensive. For bottom dentures almost $6,000.00. I have some I purchased about 2 years ago for TOP AND BOTTOM for around $1850.00. The only reason i need different bottom dentures is that i have a tooth that is loose. The bottom dentures are a partial and one tooth needs pulled so I need a new lower plate.

Negative experience: This place was awful. I received my upper dentures but when I asked about the lower ones the dentist kept saying that I was not going to get them. It was a big mess and I ended up going to another dentist to get everything done. They were incredibly rude about everything. I wouldn't go back.

Negative experience: I went into Aspen Dental because of its reviews. I haven't been to the dentist in quite sometime. My appointment that should've taken an hour took 2.5 hours. The girl taking my x-rays kept messing up and cut my mouth up from the wand they place inside your mouth. I was also sitting down in a rolling office chair to get my x-rays done. Was told I had a lot of stuff wrong with my gums and teeth. They wanted to do a lot to my teeth I didn't need done (i.e. filling in 'gaps' between my teeth, they kept pushing invisalign, wanted to do laser therapy, etc) and wanted $2k for all of it (this was after insurance covered the other $2k). When I said I couldn't pay for that, they just sat and stared at me. Yes, they offer payment plans - but these are LOANS you are taking out to pay for these services which run your credit score and have high percentage rates. VERY money hungry, typical chain dentist facility. Won't be going back.

Fantastic experience: Everyone was very polite and professional when I checked in for a second year at Aspen Dental in Corpus Moore Plaza office. It has been a year being treated for periodontal .I was very nervous and worried about my periodontal condition that The Dentist Dr. Burgess and her team had been treating me. I followed the plan recommended with Abbie ,the hygienist. Well , I was very pleased to hear good news and results. I have in the past been to dentist’s and hygienist s that seem to me Not Making any progress ., and like almost everyone has experienced”taking your money with No Progress. Negative experience: The dental hygienist was very rude And unprofessional didn't consider. My husband‘s pain asked him to leave if he didn’t like the process that was going on. Prices are so high it’s ridiculous Doctor was great, but she has too many patients on her hands so she doesn’t dedicate the time for each patient. We’ll never step foot in that dentist again.

Negative experience: I got 1 tooth extracted, and only took 2 hours the most with no problems, which is why I recommended aspen dental to my wife. She went today to get her tooth extracted, and took 5 hours just to finally say YES . She’s in pain, cheek swollen , hurts to talk and they wanted to reschedule and send her home with pain relievers. unacceptable ! When someone is in urgent need of tooth extraction . Aspen dental should be willing to help as soon as possible because it’s can lead to SERIOUS HEALTH ISSUES . doctor seemed like they didn’t want to deal with it.

Fantastic experience: This office works like a well oiled machine, from the front desk, xrays, history, hygienist, Dr. Burgess and financial! I am extremely anxious about dental offices but they made me feel comfortable and didn't judge me on the terrible condition of my teeth. Dr. Burgess explained my treatment plan and options thoroughly. I am so blessed she is giving me my smile back! Add on : my procedure experience went flawlessly, 17 teeth pulled and healing dentures placed. I was treated like family and Dr. Lu's wife made me feel so comfortable. Fantastic experience: I was extremely nervous going into a dentist, just because I have had bad experiences before. I have to say aspen dental was wonderful, the front desk makes you feel so welcome. The dental staff was excellent, Dr Burgess was wonderful she was sweet, and straight to the point. The finical counselor was extremely helpful in giving me advice on what to ask my insurance to see what they cover, and if I should wait until 2025 , or use my insurance now. I can’t say enough good things about aspen dental.

Fantastic experience: Went in on Saturday morning for a emergency visit for a broken tooth and severe tooth pain and they were kindly enough to accept me, at first it was only going to be xrays done but I was just glad to get seen after calling all around town the day before, but they ended up being able to treat me and extract the tooth! All the staff starting from the receptionist to the doctor were excellent! I can't thank you enough Aspen Dental for the outstanding service!!!

Positive experience: People in the back and dentist are nice. However I called the office to setup an appointment to speak about payment plans, they said only walk ins so I go in and they said they would check to see if she could see me at the time. I was there for 30 or 40 minutes and walked out. They also didn't scan a referral I was given and took me 3 days of back and forth just to get another one. And lastly website says they are open on Saturday and when I called they said it's only Monday thru Friday wish they would atleast do one weekend out of the month.
