Fantastic experience: Great folks and excellent customer service! They were fast to! I really like the provider for my kiddos and the technicians do an excellent job of explaining the services to me and my kiddos so that they are comfortable with what is being done. Negative experience: I'm giving 2 stars because the majority of the staff was friendly. The rest of my experience was incredibly frustrating. I changed jobs a few months ago and my insurance changed, so I had not set up a new dentist when I broke a tooth and was in excruciating pain. When I scheduled my appointment, they made it clear that they cannot guarantee same day service and may have to refer me to an oral surgeon. No problem. They told me to arrive 15 minutes before my appointment. I get there and they're closed from 12-1 for lunch. I go in at 1, with a mad dash of 8 people all to check in. It's in an old house, with no lobby, you have to wait outside for a text when they're ready for you. It didn't have the "clean" & "sterile" feel when you normally go into a dentist office. It was clean, but there were still rotten baseboards & door frames, as is normal in an old house. The rooms are very open and you hear everything going on with the patient in the next room. I meet with Dr. Abraham, she does an exam and is perfectly nice, but because she "didn't want to put me through 2 hours of sitting in a chair" she was going to refer me to an oral surgeon. This definitely rubbed me the wrong way, because she tried to make it sound like she was doing me a favor, just because she didn't want to do it. She knew I was in pain and said she was going to call in a narcotic & amoxicillin. It usually takes 20-30 minutes, so I went to the pharmacy. They said nothing had been called in. I call the Dental office back and they confirm they have both prescriptions and she'll call it in at the end of the day -- annoyed but I understand. I do all my doctors offices in Pensacola because I work here but live in Milton. I thought the prescription would be quick, so I had it sent to the pharmacy by my work. At 6:30pm, I was notified CVS received the amoxicillin prescription, but not the pain reliever. The doctors office was now closed, so I couldn't call them until the next morning. Suddenly, they had no knowledge of any pain medicine, despite 3 people being in the "exam room". I called the office they referred me to, who offered me a consultation in 4 months and the doctors schedule doesn't "allow for emergencies". I called back to Victus dental and by now the girl at the front desk was obviously annoyed with me. She gave me another referral, who doesn't take my insurance and then when I called back (again) she told me they wont do more than 2 referrals and I need to find my own oral surgeon. Anyways, I called Aspen Dental on Thursday, dreading the visit b/c they had horrible reviews. It was an amazing experience and my tooth was extracted on Monday. Their oral surgeon wasnt going to be in the office until November 12, but they found me an appointment at an office who had a surgeon in on that day and worked me in. I went in to Victus Dental knowing I was likely getting a referral to an oral surgeon and this office cannot do anything about timeframes on referrals, but the whole point of a referral is that doctors office has a relationship with that specialist. This office didn't want anything to do with me once I walked out that door.

Negative experience: Please don't waste your time and money here they're a full time scam. They have you sign the original paper when they're doing fillings and afterward have you sign second paperwork after you already agreed to the cost that they're charging you double of what they just did. They're nice and pleasant until you don't want to put with them overcharging you. Even the insurance company knew they were charging way to much and refused to pay and agreed to way less because they knew is was a scam. So they got upset because they couldn't get all of their money even though they're stealing from you. Plus they will harass you by sending you a bill stating you owe them way more then what was agreed on. They are a joke and have been scamming people for many years. Even after you have paid so much it's never enough and they take advantage of people on fixed incomes.

Positive experience: Every time one goes it’s most likely a different dentist that works on you, cap drop outs one time an implant fell out after one day, they cemented it back in but failed to remove all of the cement out of the tooth and just stuck it back on, thus the tooth was longer and had a gap between tooth and gum ! They fill it in on the back side. New implant time. Last payment was $699.00 the dentist had to drill a hole to get the new porcelain tooth to fit then filled grinder and buffed it smooth the tried to charge me an extra $332.00. To fill his hole BS I’m finding a new dentist. Good by VITCUS DENTAL!!

Negative experience: Would give no stars if possible. I switched from 9 Mile to Monroe because the dentist there was incredibly rude and condescending to me on our very first meeting with each other. I will not be treated like that if I have options. I did not want to start all over with another dental office so transferred to Monroe. It has been difficult to get in, I have had trouble making follow up appointments, and today was the last straw. I was told my 16 year old could bring himself to his cleaning appointment. Apparently this was incorrect but rather than call me, they just turned him away. I have already had to reschedule twice (their end, not mine). I requested they take verbal consent on the phone to which they refused. I work in ICU and take legal, verbal consent frequently (for invasive procedures!) I have had enough issues with Victus Dental. I’m done. Update: Received a certified letter today excusing (firing) my family from the practice. I would love to know what for as I was not loud, rude or condescending. I did not use foul language. All of my correspondence was by phone. My feelings aren’t hurt in the least as I was already looking for a new provider. Just thought I would share.

Negative experience: I don’t have insurance and I need referral to see a endodontist. They refused to refer me without a reasonable explanation when asked. They replied that i need to go in first to see them to have a full xray done. I asked why when they have the partial xrays and most importantly the xray of the molar that needs a root canal. I asked them to reconsider since it is unreasonable. I told them it is giving me pain and I don’t understand when I’m going back to them for the final treatment of installing the permanent molar cap. It seems very unreasonable and sounds to me more like a money making scheme. Basically, they are holding me hostage to get proper treatment. I never received a call back either to offer a reasonable explanation.

Fantastic experience: Office was extremely patient with me as a patient. Treated my daughter with the utmost respect and while dealing with me I had a very difficult panic anxiety attack that they comforted me with. Giving me plenty of time to collect myself and the progressing when I was ready. I was extremely apologetic and they we very uplifting and positive in my situation. The amount of effort given to ease my mind was something of a saint like behavior. All of the staff there was completely understanding. My complete embarrassment for my situation was even underplayed. Thank you for keeping it professional when I was clearly not able too.

Negative experience: They was very bad comunicate with my wife. We made an appointment for my child tooth decay inside. Doctor talk with my wife give a price and promised appointment date will fixed. When my child was there they didnt ask any thing and didnt give any information and get 455 $ and told her bye u need to come next appoinment date. My wife didnt talk english well. They lier to her didt make anything my child and get money. My child keep 2 weeks pain teeth and still pain. They dont want to help this time and dont return money. Only receipt bye bye. Its not norm. 455 $ coast check theeth and X-ray thats it. Lier scammer. Thet saw my wife didnt talk english. Didnt ask her before then start jop. Didnt tell her how much will be.

Positive experience: Thank you victus dental specially Dr.Karla I had called the night before left message of emergency appointment and they called me the next morning and got me in right away. I first went to aspen dental the day before and they tried to pressure me into spending letting a lot of money becausemy partial couldn't be fixed but once I got to victusthey took care of the issue and got me back to where I could smile again and be comfortable with my smile.The whole staff was very outstanding from start to finish answering all my question taking the time to make sure I didn't have any unanswered questions. My only issue was the wait time in office because again the Dr made me feel like I was important and relaxed.

Fantastic experience: I started seeing these professionals last year for a broken tooth. One thing led to another and I have made a complete 180 from gum disease and buildup, to a smile I can be proud of. Dr. Le and their other providers, including the wonderful Pam have made me feel welcome and I always leave the office happy. Their front office staff are also very welcoming, and I know they do their best to make sure the office flows smoothly. I truly appreciate everything this office has done for me, and everything else that is yet to come. I recommend this practice to anyone needing dental work done (if they are in network with your dental insurance of course). 5 stars! And would give more if I could.

Negative experience: Avoid this place, they try and nickel and dime you for a simple cleaning even if you have insurance. They're bossy on the phone when I made the appointment and rude and shady in person. This place feels like the shady mechanic shop that thinks they have the upper hand.

Negative experience: Will not be back. They wanted to separate me from my kids first they wanted to put my four year old who was not being seen in the room with my older daughter and me in the room with my youngest. When i said no they then proceed to tell me they only allow one extra person in the room and they had an intern shadowing and she was considered the one extra. So I would need to go sit with my older daughter leaving my youngest alone. NOT HAPPENING. Needless to say we canceled all other appts and will not be back.

Negative experience: Went for a emergency visit for a tooth to be pulled and even had a appointment to have it pulled 9/13/24. When I showed up they said that they were sorry but they didn't have a dentist on Fridays to pull a tooth but they could clean my teeth for $65.00. Why would I want my teeth cleaned when I was in severe pain and needed a tooth pulled and then tells me to call back Monday and maybe we can get it pulled. Who ever is the owner or who is supposed to be in charge is not doing there job teaching there office personal correct procedures for taking care of there customers who pay for there salaries!! I left there upset and still in severe pain and luckily I found another dentist that got me in one hour after I left victus dental and took care of my problem and took away my severe pain! Victus dental owner at Monroe Street location needs to fix there office personnel problems immediately!!! I like how they wait several months later to address my review after they first send me a certified letter telling me that since I placed a bad review that they know longer want any of my business and that I need to find another dentist. Not very professional!!

Fantastic experience: Amazing staff, hygienist and Dr. Lee. They were kind and treated my daughter wonderfully. Dr. Lee was incredibly kid friendly and gentle with her. Fantastic experience: I had to have my teeth deep cleaned and Pam was amazing. I ended up having a panic attack because needles apparently freak me out more than I thought they did and she handled it so sweetly! Fantastic experience: Very friendly staff. I really like that they are prompt and treat their pat/ customers like people and not numbers. I have been at appointments with other dental offices and had to wait up to an hour or more several times but I think the longest I have waited with Victus was 10 minutes. Their customer service is great and they also care about their customers time. Mrs. Pam is great!! I'm sold on them. Keep up the good work!

Fantastic experience: All 3 of my children have been going to Victus since their first visit to the dentist. Negative experience: The most unprofessional dental office I’ve ever worked with. They constantly call and text to change appointments they make. They won’t let me come in with my 2 children. I’m a single parent and new to the area and fact I can’t bring my 5 and 7 year old with me to an appointment is not only discriminatory it’s absolutely ridiculous. Negative experience: I highly do not recommend this place. Awful. The staff is really nice. But I miss one appt for my daughter because I was sick and in the hospital they did not want to listen and refused to reschedule the appt. I am sorry emergencies happen. This office could care less. It’s time for you to close your doors.

Negative experience: Typically my two youngest children see Dr. Pierce in the hospital especially my special needs son who has Tuberous Sclerosis which causes issues with his teeth. Dr. Pierce retired and Dr. Le stepped in, well after seeing my children under sedation he expressed the importance of getting my children into his office as soon as possible. After that appointment we got sick and my two oldest children missed their appointment. The other two missed appointment were during the grieving process of losing my husband and their father. I never received the dismissal letter and the Monroe office is often hard to reach. I called the 9 mile location to get my youngest children in with the oldest two and was told we were dismissed. I'm like okay well Dr. Le is the only dentist who will take my special needs sons insurance in Pensacola and he told me to call in. I was told "It didn't matter they wouldn't see anyone in my family"! I get in touch with Lori frantic and she gives me Dr. Le cell. I called him 4 or 5 times and Lori forwarded the email I sent to her (he never responds back to me or anything). I'm giving 1 star because the office showed zero care or remorse for a widows situation who has 4 children to care for which tells me it is truly all about the money. I gave Dr. Le 3 stars because he is a great dentist but he knows the predicament this put my son in and instead of superseding the office manager (whoever she is to him), he refuses to acknowledge how detrimental this is for my son whose disease causes teeth pitting! Life happens. For almost 2 years during Covid they cancelled and refused to take patients but we miss a couple appointments while struggling and were just dismissed like almost 10 years of trusting their office with my children doesn't matter, like dealing with their constant refusal to answer phone calls and more isn't ever taken into account. If they cared, they would have listened and been compassionate. They just were not and now my children have no Dentist and I can't trust the Health department with the health of a child with such extensive medical issues. It's sad when you see a place as a sort of family and they literally only see you and your family as a paycheck. Yeah it's great as long as everything goes their way and if they will dismiss someone after 10 years of business, don't think they will treat any of you any differently!

Negative experience: FIVE STAR FOR STAFF but the Owner, I believe is “ Dr Lee “ really needs to care more about her patience and staff being cold when its 40 degrees outside & less about her electricity bill. Refusing to let the inside get above her firm set thermostat temp when a patient asks for it to be warmer is absurd! The girls working are cold too - No one wants to be at the dentist, let alone be there and be cold too. Do better!

Negative experience: This review is for the Monroe location. I have been going to the dentist for the last year off and on. The hygienist that did my cleaning was superb. Pam has great skills with calming anxiety while completing her cleanings. I would recommend her to anyone!! Now, for the issues that gained two-star rating. (1) They give 8AM appointment slots, but are never ready for you at 8AM. I get that they are just opening, but to be forced to go and wait outside since absolutely no office lobby space is not fun. Only once was I able to go right in and wait in the actual dental rooms at my actual appointment time. (2) The 24-hour policy does not apply to their office staff. I had an appointment for a Thursday morning at 8AM. I received an appointment confirmation email AND text on the preceding Tuesday. I confirmed and think all is fine. After 3PM the day before my 8AM appointment, I get a call to reschedule my appointment; no 24-hours notice. The receptionist also does not make accommodations to reschedule me on days when I'm available. Coincidentally, they canceled/rescheduled my appointment for my "free annual cleaning". Seems like they tried to make room for a more costly appointment since my insurance covered my appointment and I was due for a free cleaning after two paid deep cleanings. Just don't have much trust or faith in this practice with its hypocritical practices. Do not recommend.

Positive experience: The staff was really nice but I left feeling extremely frustrated because I had two of my kids with me, one being a toddler, and we got in quickly and the initial X-rays and exam was done within 15 minutes and then we had to wait almost an hour and a half for the dentist to come in for 30 seconds to say everything looks good. By the time we left, we all felt very frustrated.

Fantastic experience: I am very thankful for Victus Dental! I have a horrible dental abscess and they worked me in on the same day I called and also worked me in quickly for worsening of symptoms. Dr. Kopko, Pam, and Caroline took great care of me. They were all very kind, knowledgeable, and empathetic. They made sure I understood my options and the treatment plan moving forward. The front desk staff were also very kind and efficient throughout the entire new patient check in process and numerous phone calls. I will definitely continue my treatment plan with them and my future routine care. The only negative comment I have is that it is a 25 minute drive but it is worth it. I would also like to say the atmosphere is very calm and welcoming. The office was very neat and clean.

Negative experience: Just tried to reschedule an appointment I had today because I’m running a cold and didn’t want to get anyone sick. The lady on the phone literally said “Since you didn’t call within the 24 hour window and you can’t make the appointment then we’ll have to dismiss you.” Really? Sorry that I didn’t catch a cold at a more convenient time for you. It’s pretty easy to tell now that they only care about money. They want every spot filled at every single time slot. At my previous appointment, I had a 1:30 time slot. They called me and asked if I could come in at 1 since they had a cancellation. They called me at 12:50. Make it make sense! The appointment was to get a filling replaced that had fallen out - mind you this is the 3rd filling in the same tooth that has fallen out within a year and a half. They ended up doing a cleaning and wanted to do a couple more fillings. I told them I just wanted to get my filling replaced. I ended up getting it replaced along with the other fillings and 11994761 other appointments. I also had to pay $25 to “reserve” a spot for one of my upcoming appointments so I wonder if they’re gonna refund me or if they’ll keep it.

Negative experience: I took my daughter for a new patient appointment and cleaning. I don't remember the dentists name, but I didn't care for her, she told us my daughter had 2 cavities, then had her dental hygienist clean her teeth. The cleaning was so fast, there is no way she could have cleaned and polished her teeth that quickly, we took her to see a different dentist today, he saw no cavities, they took x-rays again just to make sure, no cavities!. We will not go back.

Negative experience: This place is not worth the trouble honestly. They quote you one thing then give you a whole Nother total than what they already quoted. They reschedule your appointments constantly, change your doctor and hygienist all the time So you don’t know who you’re going to be with. And they lie straight to your face. Don’t be any kind of inconvenience they will fire you as a client . This place is just horrible and should be shut down. It’s not worth giving your money to you. I suggest finding a better place. Unless you like to be jerked around a lot

Negative experience: This review is for the location at 2850 Monroe St. Pros: - they will take your Medicaid payments Cons: - poor infection control - when you call to reschedule they will not answer and then call it a no-call no-show - it’s a house with uneven floors, everything squeaks, and I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t pass a true code inspection - extended wait - patients are made to wait in their cars because the “facility” cannot provide a proper waiting area - they never answer their phones - receptionist are rude and act like your inconveniencing them - there is way too many people in that small house. If it were to catch fire people would not be able to exit safely.

Positive experience: First review: ☆☆. Unfortunately, I had a horrible experience today. On a prior visit, the dentist planned for some work to be done at the next appt, they gave me an estimate (over $700) and a payment plan in thirds. I signed the estimate and prepaid a third of the amount on that very day. Yesterday, they called me with a cancelation--yay!--so I was able to go in today. All fine to this point. I go in, 15 minutes early as requested, and get seated right away. They put the little blue bib on me and gave me my cool plastic shades. Then they told me I needed to sign the estimate. I told them I already had, but I'll sign it again. Still no problem. Except now the estimate was for over $2000 and had an additional procedure added for about $200. They wanted me to sign it--IN THE CHAIR--for almost $1300 more than we had previously agreed. I recognize an estimate is not exact, but to ask someone for $1300 (!) more, just moments before the procedure was about to start was both rude and unethical. So I take the bib off and walk to the front desk to get some clarification. They told me they'd get the dentist. Eventually, they got an office manager to come explain to me that the costs had changed, and she did not know why or when. She even said the costs might change AFTER the procedure, depending on my insurance. I suppose I need to call my insurance company next, but Victus Dental did not treat me respectfully today. I am not sure who they expect makes $1300 decisions moments prior to an elective dental procedure, but I am not one of those people. I would at least like to have a chat with my wife and sleep on it. I do not spend $1300 on a whim and certainly not with seconds notice. I hope they do the work to fix this. By the way, I read the reviews earlier and thought about responding then. I decided that people really didn't want to hear me gripe. But a few minutes ago, I received a text hoping my visit to Victus Dental went well, and asking me to put my review on Google. So there it was. This was a ZERO star visit, but they had treated my family well in the past. The 2 stars represent the past goodwill that they had built up in our family. I hope it returns to 5 stars one day. Update 7/26/22: Several weeks ago, they called and offered another treatment plan. We began it, and I have been pleased. Also, the team has done so much to help me through a painful tooth problem. Dr Le worked on a temporary cap 3 times that I kept breaking due to my hard bite. I have moved them up to ☆☆☆! Thank you, Victus. You are earning my trust.

Fantastic experience: This visit was much better than last visit. They did however fo a treatment on my daughter without asking my permission. It was a $50.00 treatment that insurance did not cover. This should of been discussed before. I would of approved it. Hopefully they will waive the fee since know one asked for it or approved it.

Negative experience: I have struggled with my teeth since the beginning of time. I have been bullied, beaten up, turned down for career opportunities and picked apart because of them. I have been searching for a dentist that would hear my cry and make me whole again. I read so many wonderful reviews and gave them a try. Not only did the dentist refuse my request for full extraction/dentures...she cited morals as code for her denial. Long story short, I have a terrible overbite that would cost 5k for a surgery...that my heart and lungs would not make it through...not to mention the 10k I've already spent on maintenance and still need another 2k worth of work. My teeth are crooked and I need cleaning more often than the average person....or they decay very quickly.... I cannot financially keep up with them anymore... and...I hate them! My personal opinion is that this dentist does not care about morale... if she did, she wouldn't sit idle and watch me suffer.... no.... instead, she'd rather force me to keep coming back so she can collect those checks.... if I fix my problem, I won't need her again.... I will find someone to help me.... it's 2022 and society is canceling all the bs! They really need to get it through their heads that we employ them and cut the garbage out! Her assistant, on the other hand....sat with me as I shamefully cried my eyes out at the heartbreaking news and helped me search for a solution!

Negative experience: Update: been with this office for years, it’s gone downhill over the last two years. I’ve had fillings that have to be redone not long after they did it and they can’t seem to get their billing on point and I’m always seeing a new dentist every time I go in. Fantastic experience: My daughter went for her routine cleaning and we were running late. They were understanding and accommodating. When we arrived they took us right back. The hygienist and dental staff was very friendly and she even scheduled our next appointment while we were in the chair! I love their staff and they are always patient with my children!
