Fantastic experience: I love this place! I started coming here years ago and have always had amazing experiences. Staff is friendly, ambience is calming, and they always run on time. They were out of network with my insurance so I made the tough decision to leave and try another dentist to avoid paying so much out of pocket. I tried two other dental offices that were in network and my experiences were terrible: long waits, rude staff, vibes were off. I then found out that Savannah Dental started accepting insurance for cleanings and I immediately came back! Thank you Savannah Dental for welcoming me back with open arms. Lynette my hygienist is incredible, very thorough cleanings! Another staff member named Melissa has been so kind and wonderful with my transition back. Highly recommend coming here! Positive experience: Professional, kind, courteous. Definitely not the least expensive dentist in town, but you get what you pay for. They saw me on short notice after a filling fell out. Aside from the shock of the price of the crown (which turns out was relatively fairly priced) I felt very comfortable (not something I feel often at a dentists' office) and relaxed. They offered noise cancellation headphones, beer/wine, and even a comfort dog. Lynette, by far was the best dental hygienist I have ever been to. If this place is even close to others in price, I will be back.

Ella (3yrs this month) got to go a couple weeks ago with her Dad & I to our first hygiene appts here, and she got to make friends with the staff. She was nervous about going for her own cleaning--but the sweet, caring souls of the whole Savannah Dental family put her right at ease & totally made her feel at home. Mrs. Anna, her Hygienist, is amazing--she was so good to us!! She showed & explained everything to Ella. Ella absolutely adored her. She was able to get images of Ella's teeth so we can track her growth and oral health. Dr. Sweeny evaluated Ella's development and is addressing some airway development concerns. We are so happy she will be monitoring Ella on a myofunctional pre-ortho system. Ella enjoyed her visit so much--she has already asked when we'll be going back. We are excited to be a part of Savannah Dental.

They helped me decide what toothbrush and toothpaste to use moving forward. Anna walked me through the 3D teeth scan and explained what all the layers were in real time, pointing out pressure points and explaining the advancements in dental/orthodontic practice since my braces were removed a decade ago! Today, Savannah Dental and their wonderful staff helped me to change my mind. Just walking in felt like serenity and I’ve never felt that at a dentist office. They made me feel safe, seen and heard and explained what my regimen will be like and why. Not once did I feel like just a number and to top it off, I was able to even experience a mini facial!! Fantastic experience: Great service! The esthetician was amazing, extremely helpful on how to care for my skin and very gentle with product application. The mini facial I received was so refreshing. The products used were so lightweight; my favorite product used was the lip rejuvenator oh my! My lips feel smooth and healthy and it lasts all day! Over all I am extremely satisfied. Negative experience: I had lip filler done In august of last year, during the special promotion they had that month. I have been extremely unsatisfied with my results as my lips are lumpy and it’s uncomfortable. I was also quoted over text message $375 for a full syringe, and paid that amount for half a syringe. I wish there was better communication as quoting over text message the wrong amount isn’t the best.

Fantastic experience: I had taken far too much time away from having reoccurring dental work. I scheduled an appointment for a deep cleaning at Savannah Dental for my first appointment and they were incredible! I scheduled a follow up appointment for a few fillings and Melissa was my dental assistant. She did an amazing job and made me feel so comfortable! Lacey also helped me figure out a treatment plan for their zoom whitening and I look forward to my next appointment! Dr. Stephanie Sweeney is extremely knowledgeable and is the best dentist I’ve had yet. The dentist office itself feels like a spa, with soothing music, decor, and lighting. You feel like you’re in actually in a spa rather than a dentist office! 10/10 recommend and look forward to this being my primary dentist office for dental needs as well as cosmetic care!

Negative experience: I first met Dr. Sweeney at a local event a few years ago and was impressed by her kindness and approachability. When I later had my teeth improperly straightened at an out-of-state practice, I decided it was the perfect opportunity to explore Dr. Sweeney's practice, especially after reading numerous positive reviews. I became a patient at Savannah Dental in the spring of 2023 and began my Invisalign treatment in the fall. Initially, my treatment went well, but I found it odd to be asked for a 5-star review during my appointment and again via automated text afterward. Why would I leave a review before my treatment was complete? My experience took a turn for the worse when I discovered that my medical files were being mistakenly emailed to a stranger with a similar address. Despite requesting corrections three times, the issue persisted for over a year before it was finally resolved. During this time, I also faced problems with buttons popping off during treatment and food getting trapped due to improperly filled buttons. After several rounds of aligners, I learned that buttons shouldn't have been placed on my crowns in the first place. A new dental assistant explained that extra steps were necessary for proper adhesion to crowns, which the other staff typically overlooked. Had those steps been followed, my crowns might have shifted correctly, potentially eliminating the need for additional aligners. After chipping a front tooth this past summer, I appreciated the office's quick response to fit me in. However, I was surprised to be charged $144 for an x-ray before being seen, with the promise that this amount would be credited toward future services if the x-ray wasn’t performed. I agreed, but it felt unusual. As my treatment neared completion, I was presented with the option of the included retainer or paying extra for four additional retainers. I was not informed of the differences between the two types of retainers until text messages after my final appointment, which added to my frustration. I opted for two of the original retainers, given that I would soon need two crowns replaced. Deciding not to pursue further services at Savannah Dental, I requested a refund for the balance on my account. I was told the request had been submitted and would be processed. After following up multiple times over the next few weeks, I was shocked to receive a check for only $36 instead of the expected amount. When I inquired, I was informed that $103 of the original $144 was for a limited exam, a detail that had not been clearly communicated to me. If I had known the truth, I would have sought care with my in-network dentist instead. Ultimately, I feel there has been a significant lack of transparency and communication from the front desk staff, which is unacceptable. I’m left with uneven teeth, retainers that fall out, and cement on multiple teeth, but I’m relieved to be finished with this practice. The constant push for 5-star reviews is tacky and unprofessional. Edit: They said they’d make it right (FOUR months ago) and no one reached out till I got an automated message (yesterday) about getting my teeth cleaned (as I stated before, I have an actual professional that handles that).

Fantastic experience: I came across Savannah Dental after calling the emergency dental phone line. I had excruciating tooth pain and needed some relief after no medication would work. Upon entering the staff was pleasant and kept me calm as they worked to find the source of my tooth pain. I had to have 2 emergency root canals! They called Dr. Wiley Gustin’s office and they immediately were able to fit me in. Then the follow ups with Savannah Dental were seamless and I didn’t have to worry about anything. The whole staff is just immaculate and operates like a well oiled machine: the two Sarah’s, Anna, Ms. Lacey and Ciara all helped me during my visits. Dr. Sweeney is just so sweet and really takes the time to get to know her patients. Savannah Dental was definitely my North Star during an emergency situation and I will continue to have them take care of me. I highly recommend them to anyone that wants to elevate their level of care.

The facility is so cozy with an awsome vibe, you feel at home, this doctors office in no means feel like a clinic!!! My hygienist Mrs. Lynette was fabulous from the start!!! The ladies at desk are very polite while smiling and pleasant. The assistant is very polite and pleasant, the doctor is also very polite and pleasant. Negative experience: Very disappointed!!!! They called me for an appointment so I set one for cleaning. Drove 60+ miles to get my teeth cleaned. I get there and my insurance covers one cleaning a year but I had to pay a $43.00 payment up front. Then the hygienist said thaI need a "deep cleaning" which is very expensive and so I said no to this. Long story short my teeth didn't get cleaned and they wanted to schedule me for 8k worth of work. Cadillac Dentistry at its best! I might need some of it, but it's not going to be done by them!!!!

Fantastic experience: I just had my first appointment with Dr. Sweeney and one of the Hygienists named Anna and had a great experience. Their level of professionalism and knowledge of the craft was second to none, and I was very impressed with the state-of-the-art technology they utilized, which I'd never experienced anywhere else. I will definitely be going back.

Fantastic experience: Anna is the best and amazing. My wife and I are so glad she is our hygienist. Then, there is Dr. McLoughlin is so sweet and very caring and explains everything that you might have questions about even before you get to ask it. (it's like he has Spidey senses and know what you're thinking) The atmosphere of the office is so relaxing, CLEAN, and the ladies at the front desk are always in a great mood and never seem to be in a rush (which is very nice) because it makes them feel like family. I will never go to another dental office (unless I move) We appreciate y'all for being who and how y'all are! I suggest going here if you want the best service and care.

Fantastic experience: Got my lower back this afternoon. Sitting on the left implant and riding the relined right. Surprised how stable it was when I ate after I got home. Denture has stayed attached to the implant since fitted by Dr. Sweeney. Counting on all working so well permanently. Great day for me with Stephanie and Melissa! Great job by the Lab!❤️

Fantastic experience: Having extreme pain, I needed a tooth extraction done on a Friday afternoon. They were able to facilitate the procedure and went above and beyond to bring me relief. Not only that, they were very compassionate and professional. I would highly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: Today was my daughter’s second appointment and once again I was more than pleased! Each team member is friendly and welcoming. They have most definitely won me and my family over with their service. If you have a young child whom is usually scared of any type of dental procedure, I highly recommend giving this place a try! You won’t be disappointed.

Negative experience: **Find another dentist if you’re using insurance** This dentist had great reviews, so I thought I’d use them for my annual cleaning and X-rays using my dental insurance. I called for an appointment and they said they were able to see me the following day (note, I had no pain, this was not an emergency, it was a scheduled routine visit). They accepted my insurance and told me based on my plan the amount I owed was $40. Nice facility, the hygienist did a good job, but they made me wait a while to check out. At check out the receptionist went over my 'care plan' that was over $10k (I just wanted a couple of cavities filled, not whatever else was being sold to me), she showed me an electronic document for that visit, where it said my estimated cost is $40 (that was paid prior to the appointment) and asked me to sign. I confirmed that $40 is all I would owe, she said yes, but then said they were out-of-network, that’s why it showed as estimated. A month later I receive an invoice via email for $446, less the $40 that I paid. I follow up with the generic email listed, no response. I follow up again, no response. I follow up with my insurance, Anthem, they told me that a claim was processed for $179 of the $446, I accepted the funds from Anthem and paid this to Savannah Dental within 24 hours of receiving it. Firstly, I don’t know any dentist that charges $446 for an initial consultation, cleaning and x-rays. I have paid out-of-pocket and via insurance for 10+ years and the high-end in major cities was $250. Secondly, where was the due diligence from Savannah Dental, how can you quote someone $40, then charge them $267 ($446 - $179 paid by the insurance)? I made it known that I would wait for my appointment so they could check the amount I would be responsible for, they were confident that my share was $40. After tracking down someone to talk to I was put in contact with Crystal and Elizabeth, who were unhelpful. **Please don’t be the next person with insurance that goes in expecting to pay $40, but ends up with a bill for $267 after insurance paid $179**

Positive experience: I am a frequent flyer at Savannah Dental but when appt is at certain time and employees are laughing and joking at meeting that supposed to end prior to my appointment is very unprofessional. I as a client not supposed to wait for a meeting to be finished so I can get my appointment started 1st thing in the morning, if your opening time is at 7 .. appointment is at 730 then your meeting time with your team should be 645.

Fantastic experience: When I had an orthodontic emergency, they were able to give me a same day appointment and Dr. Sweeney fixed the issue. The staff was very friendly and the service was excellent. I would definitely recommend Savannah Dental to anyone seeking dental care.

Negative experience: I called and scheduled an Invisalign consultation in October of 2023. I explained that my insurance wouldn’t cover it and I would be paying out of pocket. The “consultation” consisted of a hygienist struggling to scan my teeth, then Dr. Redenz breezed in and out and let me know I was a good candidate for Invisalign. There was immediately a woman in the room with a payment device asking for $5k. No discussion of how the Invisalign treatment would work, what to expect, offer of a payment plan. Just wham, bam, give us $5k. Two weeks later my aligners came in and I went back on October 31st for installation. A hygienist installed buttons on my teeth and Dr. Redenz came in to shape my teeth so they’d be able to shift. While using a wire wheel on my teeth he slipped, let go of my lip, and sliced it deeply. Blood was pouring and out and he had to quickly stitch it up. He blamed me by saying “it’s hard to stay still”, as if it was my fault he slipped. They slapped my aligners on and sent me on my way with a mini ice pack. (Note: I immediately followed up and documented the incident with my primary care physician.) Less than two hours later the stitches came out and I had to go back later that day for four new stitches. (See photos) Brushing and eating was difficult and painful for two weeks in addition to my teeth shifting with the new aligners. I now have a permanent scar that curves from the inside of my lower lip to the top of it. My first set was 21 trays, I went back for a check up after the first ten, and then didn’t have any more appointments until April, when I was on my last set of trays. In April I still wasn’t happy with my teeth so after another scan (hygienist still struggling and had to call a second person in for help) they ordered more trays for me. On June 13, I went for a scan following my final tray. Although I would have liked to continue with my treatment for another adjustment, I explained that I was moving out of state in July and needed to order my retainers. I was originally told that the $5,300 package I bought included retainers. Imagine my surprise when I was told those retainers were “in-house retainers” and “trash” and that if I wanted the Invisalign Vivera retainers it would be another $600. I agreed to pay for them, and got the scans on June 13. At this visit I was seen by Dr. McLoughlin after being told “Dr. Redenz is no longer with us.” I was told they would call when my retainers arrived in about two weeks for an appointment to remove my buttons. By July 11, with my out of state move getting closer, I called to ask about the status of my retainers. I was told they would find out and call me back. They didn’t. I called again the next day and they told me that my retainers still hadn’t come in but not to worry they could mail them to me. Okay, I still have buttons on my teeth. Not to worry, “Krista” will get the retainers and I can expect a call on Tuesday (July 16, over a month since my teeth were scanned). Tuesday comes and goes with no word from Krista so I call on Wednesday. “Krista” is not at work so I get passed to a couple other folks who don’t know the status of my retainers. They call back 15 minutes later with amazing news! My retainers just arrived 20 minutes ago! My in house retainers will be done by the end of the day! I make an appointment for Thursday morning to get the buttons off and pick up my retainers. For the first time I meet Dr. Sweeney, when she comes in to finish removing my buttons and polish my teeth. She ground off so much of one lateral incisor that I now have a very obvious divot in it. (See photo) No chance to look in a mirror before they install the retainers so I didn’t realize it until I went home at the end of the day. Half of one button on my lower tooth was left on making it incredibly difficult to install and remove the lower retainer. Two stars because my teeth are straighter than before, but I don’t recommend Savannah Dental to anyone who wants to actually improve their smile.

Fantastic experience: Savannah Dental is the dental version of a luxury spa. They don't just offer top-notch dental care. The entire staff is incredibly happy and friendly. Pillows and heated blankets. A full line of aesthetic services. Aromatherapy. Zen office space. A therapy dog. They even serve beer and wine. They make you feel like every visit is completely about you - no matter how many other patients are there at the same time. I actually look forward to going to the dentist. I couldn't possibly recommend them more highly.

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing. I literally forgot I was in a dental office. I was so comfortable that I'd begin to fall asleep. Not only that, they were so informative I could feel the genuine concern. Everyone in this office greeted me as if I were an old friend . Thank you for making it so easy. I never thought i'd say this, but I'm looking forward to my next appointment.
