Positive experience: Staff at Peoria Illinois Marcin Dental are compassionate, knowledgeable, wonderful. But, the Peoria location has no heat in the building. It is absolutely frigid in there making any amount of wait unbearable weather in the waiting room or the produce room.

Negative experience: I have so many reasons to stay away from this place. The previous dentist is still there and I had started out with him thinking he was the greatest since sliced bread. Now, the new female dentist is repairing his screw ups secondary to neglect/burn out. He had placed a filling in a large molar in right upper jaw. Every time I saw him, I asked if it was ok and he always told me it was. I no longer have that molar in my jaw and now I speak through this big hole and sound like I have a speech impediment!! Terrible!! The tooth literally caved in and the female dentist called it a catastrophic FAILURE!! She did root canal repairs throughout that area, placed a cadaver's bone in the hole left by loss of tooth(in case I could ever afford an implant), and there was a long healing process and I bite my tongue frequently there. Directly across the roof of my mouth: same molar and neighboring molar: same scenario., older dentist pounds some filling in to them sloppily and new dentist has to repair these 2 molars. One had to have root canal and both have been built up for CROWNS! Those crowns will not be placed at this practice. After all the work 2023, I was told that I was all paid up. This place will not allow you to leave without paying. Nor will the work on your teeth. Without paying in FULL! Last Friday, they called me to collect $400 for 11/2023. WHAT??? I was paid in full! Now. More money? And supposed to get crowns next week? I think they call this EXTORTION. So, I did not handle this news too well. I pretty much told them off. And these people stated they had sent me several invoices. I've never received one. And I have no reason to lie. No reason to spend all this time to warn others about these people. Let it be noted that about a year ago, HUMANA stopped all of their patients from going there due to their billing problems. I could not see my dentist for about 6 months or more. They had to get their billing straightened out before Humana would deal with them again. WHAT?!? Then? All these new faces, equipment not working, standing in puddles of water in dental rooms, scheduling issues, having to wait weeks to get back in? Why, oh why, did I not see all of this? But, I absolutely heard the younger dentist talking to her dental hygienist about having to FIX ALL OF THESE ISSUES/NEGLIGENCE/Medical Malpractice done by the older dentist?!? WHAT?? I was just starting the stream of patients showing up and I have major damage from this man who needs to retire, gets off of his feet, and allow his burn out to stop!! He is NOT doing any of us any good! Now? These "thieves" have left me with a lot of unfinished dental work to repair awful damage. And no dentist will touch another dentists work!! WHAT AM I GOING TO DO?? Thank you. BTW? The BBB will not accredit this place. And they have given them a D--

Negative experience: Excessive waiting times (over 20 minutes, one-time 45 minutes); untrained office manager did dental work on me, which did not go well. Great work as office manager but not recommended to do any dental work on patients. Doctor and hygienist Harshal are fine

Negative experience: lady at front desk was nice and lady who took my X-rays was friendly and understanding…. however Dr. Bassi was very rude. I have a tooth I know needs a root canal or pulled and I know I have problem areas, but instead of going over a plan or having a discussion on what’s going on she just insulted me, left room to right up a plan, sending me out to schedule first visit. when I went to schedule appointment there was 7 visits with 4 different root canals totaling $15k (not a single one was discussed) briefly talked about the pain I was having with the one I assumed was going to be a root canal from pain and hole. also showed concern for my wisdom teeth erupting and was only informed my bottom were out… no details, no plan for what I need to do for pain or if it’d need to get them pulled. I have never had cavities, root canals, or anything… she did ask me what I thought the problem was and I said pregnancy and breastfeeding. was rudely interrupted saying that was “a myth and to think about it if that were true every women would have terrible teeth” I had been told by several doctors & lactation consultants that the pain I was feeling in my teeth was calcium being pulled and I needed to up my calcium intake and was put on pills. I had a high risk pregnancy with loads of other appointments filling my schedule and my previous dentist was booked out for a year. anyways she was very insensitive and assumed a lot with a nasty attitude behind everything that left her mouth. anyways I’m very disappointed, and will be getting a second opinion.

Fantastic experience: The staff was attentive and thorough. I was told that I have a broken tooth with nerve exposure and infection that went to the bone. I just wish that medical people these days would give you some pain medication instead of asking you to control your pain with over-the-counter medication. Especially when you have to have surgery and a bone graph on Friday.

Negative experience: I was furious to find out money that should have been refunded to me was kept as “credit” in my dental account without my knowledge. They make sure they get THEIR money before you leave their office which I did for all appointments except one. I asked if I could pay half the bill that day and the remainder in two weeks, instead, the office clerk immediately filled out their preferred supplier credit card form and gave it to me to sign, which I did. I knew I would pay it off in full before one year timeline with no interest. They got THEIR money! but will keep my money as credit. Despicable!!! They are keeping the credit in my account until they know what my insurance pay's THEN plan to put the rest of my money against the credit card they signed me up for. Am I a child that won’t pay my own bills! I would have payed the credit card company with this money 6 months ago. I worked 41 years in management for a Fortune 500 company and never treated a supplier like this. I will be notifying everyone I know of their business practice, and discourage everyone from using your services. I better be informed when the remainder of my money and how much is paid to the credit card or I will take you to court for unethical business practices.

Negative experience: RUDE! I had my appointment rescheduled three times because they can't get a hygienist to show up. I made an appointment at another office and they wouldn't send my x-rays to them. They won't even answer the phone. They'll sure try to upsell some mouthwash with a fancy label every time you visit though. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

Negative experience: DO NOT GO HERE !! Dentist said I need 6,000 of work WITHOUT EXAMINING MY MOUTH !! Samantha ( front desk , Xrays ) is amazing !! I returned for a second visit to give a second chance : Hygienist couldn’t figure out how to do bite wing Xrays ( she did others that Delta Dental wouldn’t cover ) then did a unnecessary “deep clean “ Dentist refused to address my concerns untilI I got the 6 crowns she wanted me to have on different teeth than at the first visit I watched them strong arm a patient to get a co signer for a 10,000 loan . While in waiting room watched numerous patients come in and demand records - This should have been Red Flag . Used to be a good practice -the nes dentist is the main issue . I reported the malpractice to Delta Dental and lodged a complaint . Amy in billing wax dishonest - said she had contacted Delta Dental to remove charges - Delta Dental denies any contact . I paid my disputed bill in full to get a receipt - I’m going back to my dentist that I pay cash up front. UNETHICAL PRACTICE .

Fantastic experience: I've been coming here since I was a kid and always saw Dr. McKone. After he retired, I considered switching with all the trouble they had during Covid. Very glad I stayed, Dr. Bassi awesome. She's very quick, and efficient, and there's no feeling of being rushed through anything. My teeth look and feel much better than they have in a long time.

Positive experience: I did not get a copy of what procedure I had done. I got a copy of my credit card receipt. I paid over $600 but don’t know the breakdown of what I paid for. I did get an estimate of over $11,000 to build a six tooth bridge but I didn’t really get complete explanation or what other alternatives I may have. It seemed like they moved really fast. Someone did reach out to me after I left by the name of Amy to discuss the procedure and financing options but not sure why they didn’t do this while I was actually in the office.

Negative experience: Took my kids there today and was told they tried calling me several times to reschedule their appointments. Was told they had my old number when I was getting text reminders on my current number. They saw them anyway but only for an xray and exam. The dentist Dr. Bassi was so rude and was pretty much yelling at my kids telling them they can’t have any candy or soda. They are 17 and 18 in which I agree they need to limit their sugar intake but come on their kids!! I will definitely be looking into somewhere else to take them. If there was 0 stars they would have got that instead.

Negative experience: DO NOT GO to this place. It should be a no star rating, I went to my previous dentist, who retired, every 6 months and never really had any problems. I left this place having seen Dr Bassi and was told I needed $7800.00 worth of treatment and this was after I paid over $400 for a cleaning, exam and x-ray! I did some research and decided I needed a second opinion so I consulted a periodontist I had seen ages ago. While I knew I had one tooth that bothered me that will need a cavity filled and probably a root canal. I was told iI DON’T NEED all the other stuff such as root scalings, antibiotic treatment and crowns done! I was also told they have done consults on other pts that have seen Dr. Bassi and were unhappy. Dr. Bassi has an attitude that just rubbed me the wrong way, Also I was there almost 2 hrs since the loaner hygienist from Bloomington had issues using the x-ray machine. I may look into reporting Dr.Bassi l

Negative experience: Not a good experience, things have drastically changed . Dr McKone was great and he is missed and some of the other staff no longer there. This new Dr Bass said remarks about Dr McKone which i did not appreciate. All of a sudden i need tons of work done this new Dentist said. Where did all the previous workers go, they made you feel welcome and taken care of, miss those days.

Negative experience: I've been going here for years. Dr. McKone was great, as far as I'm concerned. He explained everything, took his time, and he was honest. This so-called Dr. Bassi? Absolutely not. How is it that I can go in one day and everything looks great. Dr. Bassi sees me and suddenly I need my entire mouth worked on. But you're supposed to trust the professional, right? The crown I "needed" is an absolute mess; it looks and feels like a wad of chewed bubble gum. I kept telling her it didn't feel right, nor did my bite feel like it was allowing all of my teeth to make contact. All she had to say was, "well, your bite looks the same." Bassi is rude to the hygienists, rude to the patients, makes snide remarks, always appears to be in a rush. Appointments get lost and/or canceled. Billing is wrong. And why is it that I can always hear them calling patients to see if they can come in earlier than their scheduled appointments? Run away from this place. You only get one set of permanent teeth and mine are ruined now. I'm going elsewhere.

Negative experience: Sadly this place has changed since the pandemic. They canceled your appointment almost every time. They NEVER get billing right anymore. You always owe more than you should. And now some of the dentists are rude. My daughter had a terrible experience. I would give less than 1 star if I could.

Negative experience: I have been a longtime patient at Marcin Dental and it has now significantly declined. This is my second encounter with Dr. Bassi and I can honestly say, I will not be returning. Recently I just had a cavity filled by her and although the filling seems fine, the experience was subpar. She was obviously in a hurry. She became quickly frustrated with how small my mouth was and made multiple comments throughout about "actually opening my mouth." She also quickly became frustrated when she started working on the cavity and I signaled to her that I could feel everything still when she went deeper - should I add she let the initial numbing medicine sit for maybe 2-3 minutes? She was then borderline aggressive with the remaining numbing medicine injections. At the end, I made a joke about how numb my face was and Dr. Bassi snapped at me "Well you asked for it." I did not technically ask for it but maybe if she wasn't in such a hurry, she could have let the initial injections sit a little longer. My bottom gum is significantly bruised in the places she injected and my cheek is bruised too. Dr. McKone and the previous doctor there were great, but because of her, I will not be returning.

Fantastic experience: I have gone. To doctor mccone for over 30 years, and he has been wonderful. Alway I've been trying since. To get an upper plate to fit. And she wants to charge me for every time. I go in there and it hasn't been right since day one.s explains everything and always tells You What you will owe. I've been to doctor roa and he is the same way. The last few times I've been to Peoria office, I've had the new dentist, and it has been terrible. She won't tell you what it's gonna cost. She won't tell you if it's covered, you don't know anything until you get a bill. I feel like I can't trust her. This has never happened before and now they say. I owe almost $400 for a review and I refuse to pay it. Because I'm just trying to get the partial ticket. From day one I didn't know what she was going to do i thought she was still trying to get the top plate to fit me and it never has, and it still doesn't.

Negative experience: As far as I’m concerned, they are not honest. I went in there as a brand new patient. I got my x-rays done I waited. They were overbooked waited again. The assistant came in and checked my gums, and then promptly stated that I had to come back for a deep cleaning, made the diagnosis herself without seeing Dentist refused to clean my teeth, unless I had the deep cleaning. So basically you can’t get your teeth clean there I’m not exactly sure how the assistant can make a diagnosis without seeing the dentist I will be reporting them to the Dental board. I ultimately walked out and left as I have never had a cavity. I don’t have bad teeth and I basically was there to get my teeth cleaned. Oh, she also said my gums were infected which is not the case and that we needed to get that cleared up first this exact same thing happened to me the other Dennis who said I needed a deep cleaning and then went to another dentist, who said there was nothing wrong with my teeth and I didn’t need a deep cleaning. Basically they’re just out for the money don’t recommend them.

Negative experience: NEW PATIENTS BEWARE!! I can not speak to their service, however I made an appointment for a cleaning. We do not live in the area, we are here only for a short time for work. When I went for my cleaning appointment, imagine my surprise when I did not receive a cleaning and I was told we would need to schedule it for a later date. I was told this is so that they could formulate a proper cleaning plan. If I lived here, that might be acceptable, however I initially explained to the person who made the appointment my predicament and I was never told that this would be a planning appointment and NOT an actual cleaning. So now they've taken a bunch of xrays and I still need to find another dentist to see for a cleaning.

Update…long time dentist retiring soon…initial impression of dentist I saw at my last visit is they are going to start “selling” things that are not critically needed.

Positive experience: After canceling two appointments, I finally was able to get in. Apparently, after a year of not seeing a hygienist, your records disappear. They had to basically start all over, which is very frustrating! The only saving grace was my hygienist, Jessica, who was a gem! If not for her, I would be finding a new dentist.

Negative experience: Like so many other reviews on here, we have also had issues with Marcin Dental. Like others, we have been patients for years. However, they began cancelling cleaning appointments due to "lack of staffing." I was lucky enough to be able to get in finally, but my husband had his appointment cancelled 3 different times. When he was finally able to go in on 7.19.23, he was told he needed a deep cleaning and a crown for a tooth that is not even giving him trouble. IF THEY'D KEPT THE DAMN APPOINTMENTS HE MADE, HE WOULDN'T NEED A DEEP CLEANING! They also took so many x-rays that our dental insurance will not cover them all. Not even a week later, husband gets a text saying we have a balance and can he use the link provided to pay it today?! I had a cleaning in January and opted for a fluoride treatment, and they charged me $42, which was fine because I figured it would not be covered for me as an adult. When I got my explanation of benefits, the charge was actually supposed to be $37. They claim they do not know what insurance will pay until after it's processed....but if my insurance doesn't cover it, then what difference does that make??? Since I used my flexible benefits card to pay for it, I now have a discrepancy between what I paid and what the EOB says and it's been a pain to try to reconcile. We have since made appointments with another dentist and will not be returning to Marcin Dental. Others considering this practice...beware. It is definitely not the same kind of office it was when we began going there. It has certainly changed in the last year or so, as others have said.

Negative experience: Dr. Bassi started working on me without explaining what she was doing. She seemed put out when I questioned her. She was short with me and was very rough. The dental assistants were no better; very rough handling and discourteous all around. I am hard of hearing and they seemed to get angry when I asked to repeat themselves. Very unprofessional and unsuitable behavior for a medical facility. I will never go back there.

Negative experience: I've been going to this office since the 80's and have never had issues until this last year. My entire family hasn't been seen in over a year because they have continuously cancelled our appointments. My daughter had A filling fall out last July and they kept cancelling the appointment. Well, now due to the cancellations, her tooth broke and they asked me why I waited so long to come in??!!! Are you serious right now?! I called the office over and over for days trying to get an appointment and nobody answered the phone. I left a VM and they claimed they never received a message from me. They finally got my son and daughter in to be evaluated. The recommendation for her is a root canal and crown. Why should I be responsible for this??? It should have been prevented with preventative care that they cancelled over and over! I would have gone somewhere else but why would I when they rescheduled her appointment (only to cancel it again when the time came). This is unacceptable practice and I should not be responsible for this neglect. When I confronted the billing coordinator and office manager I was told to leave. I am being an advocate for my daughter's health and wanting some compassion and understanding for their neglect to their patient! My son went in to be evaluated for a referral for a wisdom teeth extraction (again, cancelled appointments over a year) and they claim they don't have time to clean his teeth today. Can't reschedule until August!!!!! Wait, there's more.....they deep cleaned his teeth, so now I'm responsible for $168, which is the patient's responsibility after insurance. I thought they didn't have time to clean his teeth? Hmmmm, preventative cleaning = 100% paid for by insurance, no. But they had time to deep clean = insurance + my responsible portion $168. This is ludicrous and the office manager has no compassion or understanding for what they've done. She said we don't do any free services. I'm asking for you to make things right. She would not listen and told me to leave with my son inside thus making the decision to deep clean his teeth. That must be why the staff has all turned over! ABSOLUTELY DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE!

Negative experience: Used to be a very nice experience. In the last year they appear to be trying to recoup losses after Covid. Last year I came in for my cleaning and they suggested I come in 4 times a year instead of twice . 6 months later, they cancelled my appointment because they were short staffed. Now, 5 months later, I am told I need a deep cleaning. I have had strong, healthy teeth for the last 60 years. I am highly sceptical.... Today I sat in the chair for 20 minutes waiting for the Dr. I was then told it would be another 20. I asked for the regular cleaning. I was told they would not do that. I am not going back again.

Negative experience: I have been a patient here for over 30 years and cannot believe how much has changed (& not for the better) in the last year. Sadly I am forced to find a new dentist because it has become clear patient care & customer service are no longer values of this practice. My issues started in October of 2022, when my 6-month cleaning appt was cancelled by the office "due to staffing" and a new appt time was not available until a YEAR had passed since my last cleaning. I called several times to see if there were any cancellations & never could reach a human, nor were any of my voicemails ever returned. Fast forward to finally arriving for the appt (which was also rescheduled a few times, for the same day but the staff couldn't seem to get the time figured out)....and while it took awhile in the waiting room to finally be called back for my cleaning, everything went well until I checked out. My time with the hygienist was just like any other appt I've experienced here, she was friendly & seemed to do a thorough job in cleaning/polishing (though the X-Rays took forever due to 'computer issues')...but when I checked out I was shocked to hear I owed $234 for a 'co-pay'. As I probed further about what this exorbitant fee was for, I was told it was for a "special deep cleaning procedure" the hygienist had to do on my teeth. I tried to assert that this cleaning was not 'special' in any way...the entire appt was just like any other 6-month checkup & cleaning...except this time I'm expected to pay well over $200 for it? I was never told there was a "special procedure" being done, or that it would require a significant out of pocket cost! The dentist also mentioned nothing of this and truthfully did not make me feel like a valued patient whatsoever - just told me I needed more work done, which will cost me another arm & a leg. The clerk at checkout said she would 'address' the communication issue with the hygienist as she should have "informed me before doing the work' but her demeanor was very curt & she was beyond flippant with my concerns & the shocking situation I was in - basically leaving me no choice but to accept it & pay the fee. I left feeling very devalued by this dentist practice that I have been loyal to since I was a teenager. I waited a full year for this appt as I wanted to remain that way - but ultimately I am going to look elsewhere for a place where I am not treated like a dollar sign. Just terribly disappointing, and given all of the other reviews I'm seeing, it definitely seems like management has changed & this place is no longer a viable option for good dental care.

Negative experience: Beware. They are an incompetent office. I had a hygienist ask me if another dentist could see me without her verifying they accepted my insurance. They billed a previous address despite me updating my information a number of times and I just received a call from debt collectors on the payment I made in October. I had screenshots to prove my payment including the receipt and transaction completed on my credit card at that time, thank goodness. But seriously? Don't set yourself up and give them your business.

Negative experience: I have been going to this practice for literal decades, but things have really fallen a part. I had an appointment cancelled in October. When I finally got in for a cleaning in December, I was told I had periodontal disease and needed a deep cleaning. Because of their lack of staff, I couldn't get in for that until March. In addition to the cleaning, I was told I needed a crown and some cavities filled which I did. These procedures then turned into another crown and fillings which were literally sprung on me without much discussion. At this point, I went to a different dentist for a second opinion and to get the deep cleaning. According to them, I didn't need a deep cleaning and everything looks great, despite being told by Marcin that I needed additional work done!

Negative experience: Years ago they did great work on my boyfriends front teeth. They were amazing but since then have cancelled both mine and my bfs appointments, over and over. They never answer the phone. So my boyfriend went in for me to ask them why I was being charged 131$ for a cleaning from LAST YEAR (not to mention the bill was actually for 113 and they admitted it was a typo). They then said they needed a copy of my EOB from insurance. Which insurance sends over when they send their payment but whatever, sent them a copy. They called and informed me they would refund my 131$ and that was almost 2 months ago. I still haven’t gotten my refund. Not to mention my boyfriend said the phone just rang constantly while standing there talking to them and not once did they pick it up. UPDATE: The guy that was taking care of my refund quit and the office manager had no record or knowledge of my refund being issued.

Negative experience: Used to be a great place. Hygiene appoints are canceled by the office at the last minute and unable to re-book in a timely fashion. They are clearly understaffed and overbooked, and the poor front desk can't even answer the phones and return the messages that are left. We recently moved out of state, and now I'm trying to get a hold of them to get our records. There is no email listed on the website for me to contact so I had to leave yet another voicemail. Two stars only because I know it's not the front desk's fault.

Negative experience: Office was good until recently. Cleaning appointment last fall was canceled; was told I'd be rescheduled, but it never happened. Cleaning this month, scheduled months ago, was just canceled, so now I'm badly overdue. Also waited over a week to get in when I lost a filling. New dentist told me it fell out due to shoddy work - work done at Marcin just a couple of years ago. Dentist was also very rude to the hygienist while working on me. I'll be finding a new dentist asap.

Fantastic experience: Was greeted when I checked in. The waiting area was clean and updated. I was called back to get my crown reattached. The hygentist and the doctor were very nice and caring. The doctor kept asking me about how it felt after she was making adjustments. The crown was cemented in and was told not to eat or drink for an hour. I believe I was there for about an hour.

Negative experience: Used to drive almost an hour to this office after being absorbed into it when Dr Gary Stamm retired. It was fine until 2022. They began cancelling my appointments over and over claiming they were short on hygienists. Finally got in when having an issue. When I arrived, it appeared every single staff member was new. The hygienist was completely unprofessional, acted as though she’d been brought in off the street. Couldn’t even get a proper X-ray. The new dentist didn’t even introduce herself, nor did she tell me what she was doing. She then proceeded to insult my appearance and bone structure. I was told I would need over $5k worth of work. Due to how rude and unprofessional I was treated, I transferred to a different dentist’s office. The new office found a tiny cavity and filled the tooth. No further work needed. Marcin Dental has serious problems. Run.

Negative experience: Wouldn't consider this dentist as a good choice for new or existing patients. They no longer have any regard for their patients. After driving 45 minutes for an appointment I was told it was cancelled and someone called to reschedule. I was then asked to verify phone number because they couldn't get a hold of me. My response was that I'm pretty sure you have it because you've messaged me daily for the last week to remind me including the morning of my appointment. I had received 0 calls or voicemails from them. They scheduled another appointment but it was 4 months out and was told someone would call to get me in sooner. I heard absolutely nothing until the 4 months came around. At that point I started getting daily reminders of my appointment until the night before when I got a text message cancelling my appointment and stating they put me on the callback list and would call me to get an appointment scheduled as soon as possible. I'm assuming it's not possible because it's been over 3 months and haven't heard from anyone. They did the same thing for my wife's appointment 2 months after my last appointment was cancelled. At this point the whole family has moved on to a new Dentist who was able to get us in within a week. Another issue I had with this Dentist is that they sent me a bill with a due date of April 14th. I paid it by phone within a couple days of receiving it (around 3 weeks before it was due). Later I received a collection notice dated April 13th ( before the bill was due) after it had been paid in full. I called and they cleared it up but it doesn't make sense to have collection letter dated prior to a due date unless you're desperate for funds or have no regard for your customers.

My appointment has been rescheduled 3 times… the only communication I get is a txt about an hour before my appointment to tell me that my appointment has been canceled. It has now been a couple months and after this forced reschedule, I instead have decided to cancel. They have staffing problems and are very bad at communicating with their patients. Negative experience: Any time I interacted with the dental hygienists, x-ray tech, etc they were great. However I have literally been waiting more than two years to pay a bill because the staff for insurance submission is incompetent. I have called at least ten times asking them to submit the paperwork to my insurance, no dice. Eventually a company they subcontract some stuff to called me, which was good as they sent me to collections. The subcontractor got that fixed, but I am still waiting on ithe insurance claim to get fixed. I am done using Marcin Dental.

Oh buty favorite, they cancel by text AFTER they are closed for the day. They kept canceling my appointments and wouldn't answer the phone. Every time they would cancel me, I had to go to the back of the line and wait months more. Fantastic experience: I loved coming to Dr Mckone over the years. I went for a 6 months check up yesterday, and found out they no longer accept Carrington 500. Unfortunately, I was only able to get a cleaning. They told me, they haven't had it since August. I was never notified of the change. Also, heard Dr Mckone will be retiring. Unfortunately, I will need to find a new dentist and accepts Carrington 500. Good luck Dr Mckone, enjoy retirement.

Negative experience: This office was wonderful at first. I had a great dentist and always excellent hygienists. Until this year. My dentist moved away... although the one remaining dentist is good. However, NOW they completely disregard the patients' needs. I just walked into the office at 8:57 for my 8:00 appointment. Was told my appointment had been canceled. NO text, email, or phone call to let me know. Oh, and they can't get me in... anytime in the near future. Now, there were at least 3 office staff there, so there's no excuse for no communication with patients if they're shortage of hygienists causes cancelation. This office went from 5-star to 1-star in a few months.

Negative experience: I came to this Dental office with another dentist who became partner or whatever the situation. He passed away and since I have felt like a number to these people. Even told the hygienist my situation with another corporate dental company and how I hated being a sale to them. My most recent visit was just routine and there was a new dentist there. I felt like I got good service and I agree they are all friendly. My complaint and reason for the 2 stars is they recommended MI paste to help me with dry mouth since I take meds that lowers my salvia and causes dry mouth. I asked how much it would be...... $10 okay I am sold. Next I know, I am receiving a $245.00 bill from them because my insurance would not pay for the MI paste. I can't afford $245.00 paste. Now I have called multiple times for a manger and can not get a manger to call me back. Very frustrating.

Negative experience: Worst office ever! They reschedule almost every appointment they make. I just got rescheduled for the third time for my annual cleaning. I was sent to collections even though they owed me a credit. I had to spend hours of my time trying to get it worked out. The office manager was never in the office and wouldn't call me back. I had to go all the way through corporate to get help. It's a shame that the office is such a mess, Dr. McKone is a wonderful dentist and the hygienists have always been great!

Negative experience: My family was absorbed into this practice when our dentist, Gary Stamm, retired. Started out ok but you don't ever get the same hygienist twice, the older dentist was so rude to my daughter on one occasion and on the next, overheard him scream at the assistant - twice! They kept cancelling my husband's extensive dental work week after week to the point that he had to make other arrangements with another dental office. So unprofessional. Their prices have skyrocketed and their service declined. You can't even get them to answer the phone. Our family has left.

Fantastic experience: Dr Mckone is awesome, as is the rest of the staff there! I’m not a huge baby, but my teeth are very sensitive and I’m not a fan of pain and going to the dentist. I hadn’t been for just a couple years and needed a cavity taken care of where I lost a filling. They numbed me up well and were very gentle with me, and I never flinched from the drilling. Overall, a very pleasant experience, as far as dental experiences go!
