Fantastic experience: Dr Mark Davis has been my longest healthcare provider, since the 90's! The facility is comfortable, the tools & treatments are most current, the staff is professional, friendly, fair and always accommodating; winning my full trust over 25 years !

Fantastic experience: I’ve just finished a major project in my mouth. I had several old crowns replaced. The process is complicated but Dr Davis’s staff was ready, understanding all the steps to get old crowns out and temps put in until the new crowns are replaced. In 2 weeks I have my new crowns in, beautifully matched and I couldn’t be happier. Dr Davis and staff never disappoints!

Negative experience: I showed up to my appointment a day early, darn it, my fault. But the receptionist said she could get me an hour earlier than my original appointment (for that next day) Great! Appointment day-received a text to arrive 15 min prior to appointment to fill out paperwork. I arrived at 12:37pm. Appointment was at 1:00. Filled out paperwork within 5 minutes. 3 other people (1 of which I over heard had a 1:00pm appointment too). I sat and waited patiently for 30 minutes, not a single person said they were running behind while I was waiting or what was causing the delay in my appointment. I finally got up and let the receptionist know that I will have to leave and she apologized that they were running behind and asked if I’d like to come in the next day. Unfortunately, I live an hour away and can’t afford the PTO that I already took and the mileage. I originally chose the perfect smile due to the past reviews I’ve heard; but after today’s interaction and frustration I’ll be looking for a new dentist.

They are very gentle, very knowledgeable, and very effective medicines, so if you have anxiety, no worries, I mean, they really can do it and care! I know I can't put all the great things in this review, you'll have to see it for yourselves. Perfect Smiles is a very Clean office and offers great amenities, cookies, and coffee. I absolutely love their staff as well. I have been going here for almost 2 years for all my dental needs. They do it ALL! They work with you so kindly Everyone there is very kind. Everything runs so smooth they offer things i have never experienced before I would absolutely recommend any family to them they helped my 13 year old feel confident in his smile and braces journey with an incredible priced invisiline and how they remember you and listening to you to the fullest they are fast and effective ❤️ I hope I explained it to do it justice you'll have to take a chance and give them a call! The staff at Perfect Smiles were unbelievably courteous, accommodating and kind dealing with my crippled self stumbling around with my walker. I've been looking for a new dentist for some time now, and I've finally found them at Perfect Smiles.

Negative experience: There was a communication problem on MY LAST visit/ procedure here. I always paid on time and i never had a problem personally. I went to the front desk, and told the lady that I was switching jobs and my insurance would switch also, so go ahead and take my payment and process everything today.. All she said is okay.. Got it! Getting the procedure done and thinking everything was okay... a week later i get a call from perfect smile telling me that my insurance didn't cover.. I asked her specifically, did they process everything that day.. and she told me, i was covered at the time of the procedure, but insurance companies dont work like that, so they waited to process the insurance a week or so later. I went back and forth with this manager now, and told her, if that is the issue, why didn't the lady at the front desk explain that to me, and she could have told me to stay at my current job a little while longer, until everything goes through, because insurance DOESN'T process the same day... Now instead of the last payment that I paid, was 100 something.. I am now stuck with a additional bill for 700 something, because they sent to collections, all because of poor communication, and NO BUDGE of a little comprise. They wanted me to PAY EVERYTHING out of pocket then, Even though I gave them a heads up, in the beginning of my appointment, and i've never been late. The manager insists that it's my fault, and i'm the one that had the communication error, as if she was there at the front desk when having the conversation with someone else. She fast talks me with everything, and over me, very impatient, And understanding is the last thing on our mind. My advice is make sure you got EVERYTHING, I mean EVERYTHING in order and make sure you express yourself in detail to them every time.. Because if something goes wrong, even if they are at fault, THEY WILL DEFINITELY MAKE YOU PAY FOR IT. And threaten you to send it to collections if you don't. I've always been kind to them though, in spite of. So this is a heads up to everyone else

Fantastic experience: The communication before the first appointment was excellent, allowing me to skip all paperwork once I arrived. Cookies & coffee were unexpected but welcome in the waiting room. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and knowledgeable. I don't believe I've ever had a choice of flavors of teeth cleaning paste and fluoride treatment! If there was any disappointment, it's what's happened to the entire industry: I met with a "treatment planner" who was very kind, but whose main intent was to get me approved for credit to come back & get more work done. It was very gentle compared to what I've experienced at Dental Arts of Catoosa, and I felt I had the option to say "I have to go" and they would have let me leave (as opposed to DA where I told them I was late getting back to work and they still went through a lengthy sales pitch). Thorough without wasting time... cleaning without being rough... professional but not cold... I will be back to Perfect Smile!!

Negative experience: I went in for my 6-month cleaning and was told I had a severe cavity that required a crown. I was very surprised because I haven't had a cavity in years and didn't have any areas of concern at my previous cleaning at another dentist. I told them I would absolutely not be getting a crown and wanted confirmation that it couldn't be filled. They said no. I repeated I wouldn't be getting a crown ever. They kept pushing, giving me a printout for the $500+ they would be charging me and trying to schedule. I said I was not going to schedule anything because I was never coming back there again and walked out. I then scheduled an appointment with Atlanta Place Dentistry, who kindly performed an x-ray at no cost, since Perfect Smile had never sent my records over even though I signed a release weeks before. They confirmed that not only did I not need a crown, I didn't even have a cavity. It's absolutely unacceptable to be scamming people this way. I can't help but wonder how many poor people have wasted money and had their teeth drilled down for absolutely no reason. I also find it highly unprofessional to have crucifixes hanging in every room a medical office, especially if you're going to be scamming people.

Negative experience: Had the most horrific, traumatic, indescribably painful experience of my life. 3 hour + root canal and I felt everything. Was sobbing and writhing in pain the entire time despite continually telling them the nitrous wasn’t working and the numbing was far from effective. They didn’t make sure I was comfortable before starting, didn’t listen to me, never gave me a way to signal STOP! and Dr. Cain told me to “be still or you’ll make me break my drill”. They also discussed what was next on their schedule over my head while my disaster was in progress. Wish I could give zero stars. As I was struggling to leave, overwhelmed with shock, pain and sobbing uncontrollably they tried to make me sit and calm down before passing through the waiting room. Seems they didn’t want me to scare the other patients. They never even called to check on me so this must be a common occurrence. More than a week later they sent a “Welcome to the Perfect Smile family” note with a $25 “gift certificate” toward Botox (good for 1 month). So insulting! Simply warning you, do not be deceived by the appearance of this dental office. It looks nice but it’s hell in the chair. Yes, I paid extra for nitrous & I still don’t believe it was on/functioning. I purposefully waited a few weeks to write this because it took more than a week to recover and didn’t want to write at the height of my emotions. ps I’ve never had problems with numbing and nitrous has always worked. The eval appointment was great! However, in both instances Dr. Ryan Cain barely moved past my shoulder and disappeared immediately after so I hardly know what he looks like. I chose them because of reviews, location & the warm reception I received for the evaluation appointment. Don’t repeat my mistake.

Negative experience: Really disappointed in my care here. I came in to get caught up on some dental care and everything was decent until they fixed my permanent retainer. They glued down half of it, I paid $400 (after insurance), and the fix lasted less than five months. When I went back in to get it fixed, they said “yeah we don’t really have the tools to do that sort of stuff out of our office” and referred me to an orthodontist. This experience caused me great financial hardship and now I am not able to get my retainer fixed any time soon, likely causing me to incur more dental expenses as time goes on. If they had just admitted they couldn’t do it in the first place this would be a nonissue. Will not be returning to avoid getting scammed again. Edit to add: the dentist also put his hand on my shoulder and called me sweetheart several times, which felt unprofessional at best, and condescending and inappropriate at worst.

Negative experience: I stopped coming here a few years ago after having cavities every single cleaning even with brushing my teeth 3+ times a day (eventually got paranoid about why I was having so many cavities) I went to get a second opinion after being told I had 5 cavities to find out I only had 1. Now to my most recent cleaning (with another dentist) one of the “cavities” perfect smile filled is now infected. They drilled too close to the pulp and it slowly wared away causing an infection. Not once did they tell me it might need one in the future or to watch for infection because they had to drill close to the pulp. So I now have to spend over $1000 on a root canal which is frustrating because with the history I have of being told I have cavities when I don’t I can’t even be sure that it was a real cavity they filled.

Negative experience: I appreciated the welcoming atmosphere. I understood their recommended treatment plan and was grateful for the information. HOWEVER, originally I only came in for a routine cleaning but was refused unless I completed their recommended treatment plan for a deep clean. I've gotten a routine cleaning without feeling pressured to do expensive treatments recommended but unfortunately this office refused to do my routine after declining their recommendations. They refused a ROUTINE cleaning unless I did a deep cleaning which I declined. This felt like Upcoding as a routine cleaning every 6 months should be done by your dentist even if you refuse a deep cleaning.

Fantastic experience: Getting preventative dental care from Dr. Davis is great. Kaitlyn did my cleaning and work up. He and his staff are very friendly and the appointments are generally very quick. This visit had a very short wait and close to my scheduled appointment time. I’ve seen Dr. Davis for close to 18 years now.

Fantastic experience: I came in with molars not working like they should and wasn't really able to eat. They made it a priority when creating my appointments to do those first out of 6 different appointments. I can say even though it's not completely done. I'm able to eat on both sides, and correctly. My stomach thanks them.

Negative experience: Generally a good experience here except for them literally HOUNDING me to get a couple of crowns. I finally relented to one then they hounded me to get the other one done. Reluctantly I shceduled the appointment but due to life circumstances I had to reschedule a few times and the finally canceling over 24 hours in advance. I guess their cancellation is 48 hours in advance. Since I never really wanted to schedule the appt anyway and only really did due to the their continued selling tactics, don't feel like I should be charged. Also, when I first made the appointment as a new patient, they ahd a special on teeth whitening however for some reason they didn't provide that which is something I let go but still felt a way about it. Apparently they didn't "schedule" enough time to do it. Well, who's fault was that??

Fantastic experience: I was visiting in Tulsa a few years ago and started having a severe toothache. A friend suggested I call Perfect Smile and they worked me in that day! I live 2 hours away but I still drive to Tulsa for my Dental care. The staff and Doctor are friendly -kind and I get great care. It’s worth the drive.

We both ended up needing fillings, and because of a cancellation, they were able to get everything done in the same visit. Negative experience: This business has shady practices. Even though I am fully insured and had set procedure up beforehand, upon walking in the door i was informed I'd have to pay $300 because part of my procedure was not covered. I immediately called my insurance carrier and was told this was not true. I should have left then. The next time I came in - big mistake - after having a procedure I got a bill for $200. When I called my insurance company they told me that the dentist had done double the exrays necessary and it was bundled wrong. I instigated a review and my insurance company told me they would take care of it. And still Perfect Con ( Smile) keep sending the bill over and over. Never going back there. Wouldn't advise anyone else to either

Positive experience: Went back to Perfect Smile as soon as it was confirmed they are in network. There’s something about picking up where you left off with ease that is irreplaceable. I had procrastinated switching to a new dentist so when I had a problem with a broken tooth I was worried they wouldn’t be able to get me in for a while. After having to switch twice in the last 3 years due to a retirement and a dentist going off insurance I am glad to have this office as my new dental home.

She's very knowledgeable and thorough, kind, and I've never had a better experience at any dental office. It's so clean and well-kept, and there are payment plan options. They actually genuinely seem to care here and have great bedside manor. I highly recommend this place just off the service I just had. Especially for people afraid of the dentist. You won't regret going!

Fantastic experience: My 92yr old dad had a tooth extracted two weeks ago from a different dentist and it has continued to bleed even with liquid diet and tea bag compresses. My dad went in for follow up last week and they weren’t concerned with the continuous bleeding. So we decided to change dentists and called Perfect Smile. They were so nice and were able to squeeze my dad in that same day. He was seen by an amazing dentist, Dr Ryan Crain. Dr Crain made my dad comfortable, and was immediately able to diagnose what the problem was. (Liver clot). My dad had currently been getting mouthfuls of fresh blood. Dr Crain was able to do the treatment, and just to be on the safe side, he sent my dad to follow up with an oral surgeon due to my dad being on blood thinners and complications that come with that. I can’t express enough how courteous and professional the staff and Dr Crain was. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Davis and his beautiful staff are friendly, professional, extremely helpful and always smiling! I do not like going to the dentist, probably no one does, or at least very few. Well, Dr. Davis does nearly everything possible to make it a pleasant experience. From the gorgeous old house with a warm family feel, to the knowledgeable staff that really gets to know you. All the insurance and expenses are explained in a clear way and with no pressure. I have been going to Dr. Davis for about ten years or so and he has put on a couple of crowns and filled some cavities. All his work has been durable and long lasting. I recommend him to people I know and I would certainly recommend him and his establishment to anyone who is looking for a great dentist and an easy comfortable experience.

Positive experience: On Thursday 11/14/2024 I had my 6 month follow up appointment. During the appointment I was given a polish and a flossing before I was waiting to be attended by the actual tooth cleaning expert, Ashley. The dental assistant Hope, however, was pretty rough with the flossing procedure after the fact that I had mentioned to her that certain parts of my gums were tender. She still proceeded with the roughness. It also annoyed me that she kept making wisecracks suggestions on how I should be cleaning my teeth and what food was left behind from when I last had eaten instead of just being quiet and doing the job that she was paid to do unless I had any questions. These may have been just typical misunderstandings but nonetheless, I still feel that this experience was unprofessional and annoying.

Negative experience: I have been a patient for over 25 years with Dr. Davis. I have never felt scared to sit in his dental chair. I have always maintained a good financial standing with this company. This last treatment session was 6,000 dollars up front before treatment began. No offer of payments were offered. This was very unexpected and a large expense out of our income. But, it was paid in full at the first appointment. The compassion and care from the employees have always been top notch. My last appointment was filled with disappointment and tears. I did not have my usual dental assistant, who is compassionate, gentile and kind. This young woman obviously has never been afraid of the dentist and has a-lot to learn about bedside manner. Not only do I have anxiety about the dentist, I have had to wait 6 weeks for my bridges to be received , and again yesterday I was told I have to wait an additional 3 weeks , The assistant seemed not to care that this has already been a huge ordeal. To say I am disappointed is an understatement.
