Lowell Family Dental Practice

Positive experience: I have very mixed feelings about my visit. On one hand, they got me in for an appointment quickly. I arrived today and was asked if I had filled out the online forms, and wasn’t made aware of any when I booked the appointment. I was disappointed to find that the room wasn’t enclosed; I say this because I specifically mentioned having sensory issues. Thus, it was REALLY loud (even for someone without sensory issues). There was a lot of debate about who was going to take my x-rays. The first assistant was lovely. A second came to take over and basically shoved the instrument into my lout with force, to the point I actually gagged. I immediately said “no” and that I couldn’t continue because that was far too rough. She adjusted, but even then, it was a struggle because the instrument barely fit into my mouth. The dentist was nice enough. He asked permission before doing anything and explained things. That said, I saw him cross-contaminate a few things. When doing my flossing, he used the same part of the floss. I even got to my car after feeling something was amiss, and was able to floss more out from an area in between my back teeth. There is still some build up on my lower teeth that I can see even without a magnifying glass/head lamp. And I’m not surprised since he stood over me the entire time rather than sit down. That said, this could also be due to him erring on the side of caution since I struggle with scraping; though I did mention I would rather just have my teeth clean and get through it. He also wound up leaving the suction on the little bulb under my tongue and it’s extremely red and a bit angry at the moment. All in all, I’m not sure that I’ll be going back… and some of this experience is exactly why I hate going to the dentist, and why it’s likely going to take me quite a while to build up to going back again. And before any of you come at me, I had no cavities and just had minor build up by my permanent retainer. I was very explicit when making the appointment that I had sensory issues. In no way is this a sensory friendly environment, and I can very much see many others feeling overstimulated. It was both a loud and chaotic environment.

Negative experience: very unprofessional, the numbing did not work. The doctors were smiling and laughing at me while i was crying. They think giving me a packet of toothpaste, toothbrush, and floss helped me. When they pull out my teeth, the numbing did not work and i was in such pain. It was my first time crying in a dentist. a man named old man randy was working on my tooth and he “accidentally” dropped a tool and continued using it on me, without cleaning it. this was years back before, i still have a grudge btw. This place is very unprofessional, it was so bad i want to give it a 0 but i can’t so i have to give it a 1. do not come here..

Fantastic experience: I go to Lowell famil Dental and they are great. I went in with horrible teeth due to my fear of dentists and he made me feel comfortable and safe. I now have been going for the last 6 months and he has made my smile so much better and I couldn’t and won’t ask for anyone else to take care of my teeth.

I’ve only been coming here since last year but I’ve already felt very comfortable and at ease getting my dental work done here as well. The office is lovely and welcoming. Fantastic experience: I had partial implant done, but they did my extraction, cleaned infection that I had, bone graph and part of the implant, it was a lot, but the main person that did implant was awesome, not once was I in pain, and his helper was awesome too, including the other dentist who did the final placed tooth while I get the rest of work done after healing, u guys were great, very well appreciated, thank you.. !!!

I decided to pick Lowell Family Dental Practice was because I’ve read a lot of good reviews! And thank god I did because my son loves it each time he goes there because the staff are absolutely friendly, patient and nice to him . Fantastic experience: So… here I went again to the best dentist ever FAMILY DENTAL N the bom no pain no pain at all. He is the best dentist u can go to. He keeps his word about “I will help u feel comfortable n calm..” He is so good at wat he does it’s incredible. I am not scared nomore I have nomore anxiety n I have real bad anxiety n panic bad to see all the tools around me n he has made me feel so great in there that I wouldn’t refer no other BUT HIM AT FAMILY DENTAL. No lie people go here for any work on ur teeth. Oh can’t forget how fast he does it but the rite way so u don’t feel like ur there for ever. I’m telling u he is the #1 DENTIST I WOULDNT GO ELSEWHERE. I’ve been going to Lowell Family Dentist for years however took a few years off due to covid time. However, They really are very caring, very professional, and I really give them five stars (and there is never a long waiting period to be seen EVER !! Making appointments and in the waiting room when you arrive, Exceptional. You should really try giving them your business if you need dental work. They work with you extremely well and do the job your looking for so I totally refer this dental practice to all ✅

Fantastic experience: I have horrible anxiety about dentist’s and have put things off for years . Dr. K and his team are amazing. They are very knowledgeable and informative and let you know what’s going to be going on. Now when I go to the office I feel more relaxed and my anxiety is totally under control.

Fantastic experience: All of my experiences at Lowell family dental have been wonderful They are caring, compassionate, preventative, and humorous I have always been very nervous about going to the dentist and since I have been going to this practice, I am no longer nervous and I am 72 years old I recently had six front upper crowns done The experience was terrific. I am so happy to say. I now have the smile of a young person My recommendation to all is to check this practice out You will not be disappointed Had a very difficult crown replacement done today it was terrific Very rarely do I enjoy getting a crown, but at this place, you cannot even imagine the ease in which they work on you and the results that are so terrific 7/29/25 Today I went to the dentist for what I thought was going to be a preparation for a crown Unfortunately, there was a cavity under the spot that they wanted to make a crown on top of They removed the cavity and prepped the tooth for a temporary crown, and everything went well I was told after next time I go I will get a root canal which I have never had but the doctor told me Yes, I did not feel anything with the removal of the cavity The root canal would be painless I go back on 27 August for the root canal and a permanent crown The doctor is so fabulous and his assistant that the processes I go through I just smooth and painless If you have never been here, I suggest you go Lowell Family Dental Health is the best I went to get my teeth cleaned, which is all always a great experience no problems and I would recommend this practice to anyone

Fantastic experience: My dentist Bowden told did 2 root canals on me today. He did a great job. I didn’t feel any pain at all he explained every step when he was doing it when I Ask him questions. So did his nurse. This is the best I’ve ever gotten in my entire life always from the reception.

Fantastic experience: Everyone was personable and friendly. I was taken in for my appointment on time. The Dentist mentioned things and answered questions that other dentists hadn't. He made a plan of follow up care before I left as well. Very patient and kind. I will definitely continue with Lowell Family Dental Practice.

Fantastic experience: I went to Lowell Family Dental for a cleaning and Dr. Seiya was the best, I need a filling and he did at the same visit. The dental assistant Sacheat she was very sweet and she did the x-rays quick and easy. I would recommend this office to anyone. 10/10 The staff is very polite and nice. First time in the office and the receptionists were nice. Very cozy office.

Fantastic experience: My son started at Umass Lowell and started getting severe tooth pain . The staff and dentist were extremely professional, kind and told him what was going on after taking a 3D Xray. It was his first appointment on his own so I know he was nervous but with how nice everyone was, it gave him the confidence to do this on his own moving forward. I would highly recommend !

Fantastic experience: I had Dr. Bowen he was probably one of the best dentists I have ever been seen by before. I’m always a nervous wreck going to the dentist and Dr.Bowen couldn’t have been more comforting. I instantly felt better being there, he was thorough explained everything to me step by step, unbelievably sufficient took care of everything that needed to be done at the very first visit. Procedures that other dentists have taken weeks or months to get done. Friendly, kind, informative all around incredible dentist!

Fantastic experience: Well, I would like to begin with letting you all know that I do not enjoy going to the dentist. Especially in America, however, Dr. Bowen, eased my anxiety, he was kind and encouraging with me and explained so much so I understood why x was x. The assistant was super kind and very compassionate. I love when you feel cared about as a human rather than a dollar and they definitely made me feel cared about as a human. Honestly I came from Acadia and had amble amount of choices for dentistry and trusted the Google reviews for this particular practice and I’m so glad I did. Highly recommend Dr. Bowen.
