I've had a lot of work done with this office, usually within the same day, they're precise, they do same day and the work is beyond satisfactory. They know me, and I know them. Fantastic experience: Nashville ! This is the dentist office you need! The professionalism, the personal care, and the relationships that this office provides is beyond top tier! Not many people can say they love going to the dentist but I personal LOVE this office. My first visit I was a nervous wreck, but Lauren helped me feel at ease with her beautiful smile before I even went to the back. Dr. Bakari came in and reassured me everything would be fine and that I wouldn't feel any pain just a little pressure. For the first time ever, that was true. I didn't feel any pain! Valencia had a great sense of humor and was very energetic while providing care. Whatever I need they always make a sure it is taken care of. Negative experience: It was a very unpleasant experience. I had my x-rays and wanted to get an extraction but was not even given the chance to explain or be heard.

Fantastic experience: I was at SmilesUp this morning for a wisdom tooth extraction. After some additional pain and a specific concern, I contacted Lauren at their after-hours phone number. My call was returned and then conferenced in with Dr. Bakari. He asked me to return first thing tomorrow morning. I am relieved about the response from SmilesUp this evening and their offer to correct the problem! Update: Came back this morning. Everyone in the office was pleasant. Dr. Bakari looked at the area I was having an issue with. Dr. Dudley came in shortly after, addressed it, and finished things up. Thank y'all!

Negative experience: Broadly advertised on the website, Google entry, etc. that you can have a walk-in appointment. Walked in at 10:30. They said it would be a $50 fee just to walk in the door because I came in before noon. I understand that with these sorts of walk-in clinics, there's always going to be a fee, but it feels particularly egregious and even predatory to charge extra based on time of day. I'm lucky that the issue wasn't so bad I couldn't afford to walk out. What if I'd had an infection and came in first thing in the morning to get it addressed because I was in terrible pain and was risking sepsis? Shameful.

Negative experience: Very unprofessional and a complete waste of time. I was asked to send my X-rays and paperwork in advance and even called to confirm everything was acceptable before my appointment. Despite this, I arrived in extreme pain and was asked basic questions I had already explained beforehand. I also made it very clear prior to my visit that I have severe dental anxiety. The dentist seemed unprepared, asked what another specialist had said, and then told me he would need to take more X-rays and refer me out—something that should have been addressed before my appointment. Overall, poor communication and lack of consideration for my pain and anxiety.

Negative experience: One of the receptionist was very rude and I was in tears by the time I made it to the back. She was so disrespectful and never once acted like she was doing her job. If you ever deal with Lauren ask for someone else because depending on what color your skin is you will get treated better

Fantastic experience: Thank YOU thank YOU! Severe tooth pain and they let me pay a small fee to do a walk in on a Saturday and was able to pull my tooth out within a hour. It’s a plus they are open on Saturdays! I just made them my primary dentist. Atmosphere is 10/10 office is clean and up to date. Staff is professional and extremely nice! See y’all next month for my cleaning!

Fantastic experience: Was very grateful for the service they offer. Was in a lot of pain and knew I couldn’t wait any longer so I contacted them at 5 am and Lauren had me scheduled within a couple of hours on Thanksgiving morning. She was so professional and caring. Dr. Dudley quickly diagnosed the problem and performed a complicated extraction and bone graft in about an hour. He made sure I was pain free and communicated excellent. He is the man. Their pricing was very reasonable and will use Dr. Dudley for the implant as well even though they are an hour and a half from me. I could not recommend their practice more highly. Again thank you to both of them for their excellent and prompt treatment.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Smiles Up Dentistry. Friday night going to Saturday midnight, I was in severe pain. I had already scheduled an appointment at another dental office that was closer to where I live (about 1 hour away) to take care of issue. Unfortunately, the booking wasn't for another week and a half away. I googled emergency dentist near me, and many of the offices were closed for the weekend. Then I saw Smiles Up open 24 hours. The office has normal business hours and after-hours option. The after-hour has an emergency deposit to secure your after-hours visit - all understandable and a great idea for a practice. Because I was in severe and excruciating pain, I chose to see a dentist using the after-hour emergency service. And in my opinion, it was the best deposit I paid to be seen at such short emergency notice and late. It shows the doctor is there for you and cares, no matter the time. I'm so glad I found this dental practice. Smiles Up is a lifesaver. Dr. Dudley did a fantastic job making me feel comfortable and cared during the dental procedure.

Fantastic experience: I want to thank the staff at smiles up dentistry. I cracked a tooth on a Friday Halloween morning and couldn't find a dentist open and eventually found smiles up on Saturday after my tooth fully cracked apart Friday evening. They were able to put a temporary crown on that day and a week and a half later a permanent crown put on! I am so thankful for everyone that helped me through this ordeal!

Negative experience: Trash!! Liars!! The service and the lack of work around for pain. The last time I went to this dentist they advised me of one price with my same insurance for a root canal. At the time I did not have the money so I waited until I did. First off my medical records were not updated and they prescribed me an antibiotic that I'm allergic to. Last after already coming in with pain,and completing the root canal I was given a prescription for Tylenol 500 mg ( which I already have a higher dose at home of 650mg which was not working ) After going back and forth with the personnel about how much I had to pay, I paid what I had and which was previously quoted to me. ($300)l get to my car and before I could open the door I felt something in my mouth. Of course the temporary crown came off. I went back up immediately and explained what had just happened. Someone said they would help me, after already being in the office for 3.5 hours I left because I had to get my children and head to the hospital with my mother in law who just had a double transplant yesterday. No one was considerate of my time or my pain, even after I left and was contacted about another antibiotic that was sent to my pharmacy they just repeated that I should take Tylenol even though I already explained my pain and situation. To say the least I do not recommend anyone to go here for any work. You're either waiting a long time for your appointment or having to deal with ppl not hearing you or what you need as a patient. SERVICE WAS TRASH!! 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

The team there is excellent and very knowledgeable. They helped me with the service I needed and made sure I got referred to an orthodontist. Fantastic experience: I have had horrible experiences in the past but when I had a a bad tooth ache after breaking it, Dr Dudley was there and had it out with no issues, this is the first dentist I’ve let do an extraction without laughing gas or putting me under. This was also around 7-8 pm.

They publicize professional, knowledgeable, courteous and immediate “on-call” service if required—- and that is exactly what you get!!! The staff was extremely competent. I required emergency service and was so grateful that I landed with this office. Lauren who managed the appointment and assisted with the care plan was impressive to say the least. Dr. Stanley was so patient, descriptive in the procedure he had to perform AND a “wizard” to say the least with the dental procedure he performed. After several hours I left the office like new. Finally, the follow-up was extensive and much appreciated. I hope you never need emergency service but if you do…look no further!

Fantastic experience: I was so greatful to find this place. I woke up at 2 am in so much pain. I began to google 24/7 dentist in nashville, and Smiles Up Dentistry came up. I reached out at 2:22am, and was at the office by 3am. My tooth was extracted and i was in my car leaving by 339am. He was very informative and welcoming, yes even at the crack of dawn. We came here for a second opinion on extensive work that needed done and they have honestly changed my child's life. She has a beautiful smile and all credit goes to Smiles Up! To say they are amazing is definitely an understatement. They always work around my busy schedule to get us in when needed. They always go above and beyond. The staff is awesome. Fantastic experience: I was awake all night with the worst pain I've ever experienced, let alone tooth pain, and couldn't find any relief. I tried all the pain relievers and they didn't do anything, so finally I called Smiles Up at 4 in the morning and Drake Dudley met me at his office within an hour to extract the tooth. He's fast, friendly, honest, and very accommodating. He makes sure you're comfortable and doesn't waste any time getting down to business. Drake Dudley is the people's dentist and I highly recommend him.

Amanda, the dental hygienist, set the tone right away during the dental imaging process. She was not only helpful but impressively insightful—explaining each step before doing anything and giving me a clear picture of why it was necessary. For someone like me walking into a new place, that level of communication made all the difference. The dentist who examined my teeth was just as reassuring—super friendly and polite. I never once felt rushed or uncomfortable, and that's rare. Between him and Amanda, even undergoing the dental x-rays (which I usually dread) felt like a no-stress process. Shoutout to the receptionist as well—she took the time to go over my dental plan, helped clarify my priorities, and even rescheduled my visit so I could knock out two major procedures in one day. Efficient, thoughtful, and on point.

Fantastic experience: I found Smiles Up after I broke off half of my back tooth. They were able to get me in very quickly! Once I was brought back, I was so impressed with how quickly and efficiently everything was handled. Based on visits to other dentists, I was amazed that they were able to immediately perform my extraction. In the past, I’ve had to make a second appointment! Not only did Dr. Dudley do a great job with the extraction, but I also felt no pressure from the staff or the doctor to schedule additional procedures. So often a dental office presents you with a full treatment plan up front and tells you how many thousands of dollars of work that your teeth need. Dr. Dudley put me first as a patient and didn’t try to change my mind or talk me out of an extraction vs root canal. So, so very pleased! I will be a return patient!

Fantastic experience: Best sketch experience ever ! Honestly I was a little uneasy once I stepped off the elevator of the 7th floor! But once I got in , it was a very clean, and friendly atmosphere ! The dentist is very thorough with an expansive sense of humor ! The dental hygienist was very kind and sweet ! I went for a cleaning ! So far so good, I hope to make this my dental care home !

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Dudley. I had just landed in Nashville from Colorado when my crown unexpectedly fell out, leaving me in serious pain from air sensitivity. It was 11:30 PM, and I was desperate for help. I found his office through Google, gave the number a call—he answered right away. Within 30 minutes, Dr. Dudley met me at the office, treated me with incredible care, and quickly got me out of pain. He was not only skilled and efficient, but also kind, personable, and even had me laughing despite the situation. It was a true hero move, and I’m beyond grateful I found him. If I lived in Nashville, he’d absolutely be my full-time dentist. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Dudley is an amazing dentist. I've had many bad experiences in the past with other dentists. But not him he is it. I cannot thank him enough for all he has done and how he makes me feel calm and assured everything is okay and going to be ok .also and amazing and welcoming staff.

Fantastic experience: This place was so helpful ive had pain in my mouth for over 2 weeks ive tried to call over 15 different dentist places and nobody and I mean NOBODY helped me out but smile up said come in now we will take care of you. I came in and was out with my tooth extracted in 30 mins I'm Dr.Dudley was extremely helpful he made the visit fun way less scary and informative and the people he has helping him were just as amazing as him thank you guys so much.

Positive experience: Staff was friendly accept the business manager she was very rude to the Dentist. Upon, the Dentist explaining the procedures I needed done to my teeth. The business manager came in and interrupted Dentist by saying, let me talk to you outside. That was very unprofessional. Overall, everyone else was so nice and knowledgeable of their work. Would I recommend this Dentist office to a friend? Yes, I would because of the Dentist, receptionist and the Dentist Hygienist.

Fantastic experience: Nice, petite office. Customer service from front desk to Hygienist to Dentist was amazing and informative. This was my first time going to this office and I absolutely love it. I will be bringing my children here as well.

Fantastic experience: I came to Nashville for a cheer competition with a bad toothache, so I went online and saw they were open on Saturday. I made an appointment, and Ms. Lauren was awesome. She got me a good deal, and Dr. Bakari and his staff took the time to get that bad tooth out. I'll be able to make my daughter's cheer competition tomorrow, and I really appreciate Nashville Smiles up.

Positive experience: I do like this office, the staff is usually pretty friendly, dentist is great. Office is clean. Parking is fine. The wait times are insane though. I always expect to be in the office for at least a couple of hours. Even if it’s just a teeth cleaning. I usually wait 30-60 minutes before even being called into the back and then waiting for the dentist and the cleaning tech, your appointments will take foreverrr.

Fantastic experience: I was having sooo much pain in 1/4 wisdom teeth! I was able to get an appointment the next day! Appointment was at 1pm I was out by 2pm! Fast and affordable 10 out of 10 highly recommend!! Staff super friendly as well!!
