Fantastic experience: AMAZING Staff! Both of my boys are on the autism spectrum and have a hard time with the dentist and the entire staff is so incredibly patient and kind. Every time we’ve gone in they have been great. My 12yo had a really hard time getting back into a chair today and they were working with him…gave him different room options, they gave him so much time and let him stand up instead of laying down and it ended up going well.

The Dentist’s are amazing with kiddos, my 3 year old Hunter has issues with communication, but Dr. Charlie did a great job taking care of him, and he got his check up with no fuss! (He had a little breakdown just before, but Dr. Charlie calmed him down right away) I highly recommend Children’s Choice!!

They don’t force themselves on small toddlers like others, which impacts future visits. Every staff member aims to make it a positive and rewarding experience. I’ve also noticed the assistants differ to custom around the needs of the child’s. Watched them with a few special situations that would make your heart melt watching this team do their job!

Fantastic experience: My daughter had a very scary accident late at night and I was able to call and talk to the dentist on call to help guide me with the next steps. Dr. Toillion was very reassuring and saved us a trip to the ER. He was very kind and I could tell he really cared about our situation and helped make the entire situation much less stressful. Dr. Jared took so much time with us, and our hygienist did a teaching appointment to make our daughter comfortable with her instruments and x rays. We had been at another practice, and though they were good, this is next level care. I can’t recommend them more, especially for nervous kids who are not fans of medical appointments!

My 4 year old and 2 year old were hesitant but she was so friendly, she showed them and told them about her teeth tools. The kids did awesome because the staff made it fun and inviting! Fantastic experience: When one of my sons had 1/3 of his left front permanent tooth chipped off at the playground and our normal location in North Spokane was closed for a few days, we called the South location and they got us worked in quickly when someone had cancelled. We got in and out within an hour for X-rays, exam from the dentist, and excellent care and fixing of the tooth by two hygienists. The tooth looks great, and we can’t visibly tell he had chipped it at all in the first place. Very impressed with the kindness of all of the staff and the efficient and high quality service! Thankful for the multiple locations in times of unexpected situations! Everyone was very knowledgeable and friendly :) We love Children’s Choice!

Fantastic experience: Our son Kristian is 31 and non-verbal autistic. Dr. Charlie has been his Dentist since 2001. Kris still has a full set of teeth as the result of his efforts over the years. Childrens Choice Dental is FANTASTIC. We all love and sincerely appreciate Dr. Charlie and his Staff of top notch Professionals.

Fantastic experience: The front desk staff, hygienists, and dentists are all so wonderful and kind. They know how to make my 2 and 4 year old feel comfortable and are great at distracting them to get their teeth checked and clean. We couldn’t have had a better visit!

Fantastic experience: This place is awesome! Our dental hygienist was so wonderful with my 2-year-old took time to talk to him and let him open his mouth on his own time. Let him play with the equipment that he'll soon be using in his appointments. The doctor we saw was wonderful. He had a very nice demeanor and Was very educational with how to change or keep our routine. Would 100% recommend taking your little ones to these guys.

Fantastic experience: Today my son visited the dentist for the first time in over a year. While I was super nervous that he was going to freak out and have a meltdown. The staff @ this location went above to make sure he was comfortable his whole visit and walked him through every step of what they would be doing to his teeth. Needless to say we had a great visit and will definitely be recommending to friends and family!!!

The Dental teams are amazing at there jobs with making my children feel comfortable and getting the work that's needing to get done behind the scenes when working with my children, which is not easy most of the time So, double thumbs up to you guys!! Fantastic experience: My kids have been going here since 2017. They have been AMAZING with our youngest who is on the spectrum and struggles with the dentist. They have met him where he is and treated him with so much kindness and respect. It took him several visits but he is now able to sit still, let the hygienist clean his teeth, and let the dentist complete his work. I highly recommend them and am so grateful for how they have cared for my kids.

Fantastic experience: We had our first appointment here today. We drove a long distance to get a THIRD opinion for our 5 year old. Both prior pediatric dentists we tried would not even attempt to work on our son unless they put him out under general anesthesia. Our son got two cavities filled today and loved his experience. Just goes to show... Trust your gut! We are so beyond grateful and thankful for today and we will be back soon. My husband said that everyone at the office from the front, to the hygienest to the doc were so nice. My son came home telling me he loved the superhero headrest. We can't thank you enough!!

Fantastic experience: Had our first visit today!! Our daughter has had an awful experience at her last dentist, they were not kid friendly whatsoever. But HERE, THEY ARE AMAZING! The assistant was so patient and amazing! She showed and explained everything to my 2 year old, made her feel safe & comfortable. They didn’t do anything she wasn’t ready for. It went so well that our daughter let the assistant clean her teeth and let the doctor do an exam! The doctor is also wonderful! Answered all my questions and was so friendly! The front desk lady was also so nice and helpful! And also l gave my daughter light up cat ears for Halloween!! Best dental office for little ones, especially if they have had a poor experience with dentistry in the past!

Fantastic experience: My son has autism so sitting for any appointment is difficult but the hygienist was very patient and sweet with my son while brushing his teeth. They even noted that he doesn't like any flavoring for future visits. Everyone is so friendly and work really wonderfully with kids on the spectrum and work to build up tolerance. I never feel stressed or worried when going here.

Fantastic experience: Staff is friendly, love the assistant today who helped me with my 2 toddlers while we waited. She's great! They are also very thorough, they showed me the xrays and helped me understand my childs "extra tooth" as well as handled an emergancy well with being able to go straight in! Highly reccomend!

Fantastic experience: Everyone there is friendly and kind. My daughter loves the TV above the chair and the stickers, toothbrush, and toothpaste gift at the end. You'd think she won the lottery! Today, she was a little shy about sitting in the dentist's chair, and everyone worked so patiently with her, I was really grateful and impressed! We got in and were seen quickly and were on our way. Very happy. Definitely recommend this dentist to others.

Fantastic experience: This is by far the most amazing and thoughtful place I could have taken my son to for dentistry. Almost two months ago my son had an accident where he fell off of a scooter and the sidewalk was not so friendly with his mouth. I am from Seattle and was out in Spokane visiting some friends for the week. The incident happened on day two of the trip. After taking my son to the emergency room to make sure there wasn’t a concussion or something else, the ER recommended I have him seen at a dentist office the following day. (It was 11pm by the time we left the ER) I found this Dentists and called right away in the morning and explained what happened, the receptionist put me on hold to speak with the doctor and came back to let me know they could see him with in the hour. I really did not expect to be seen as soon as I was and I am so grateful and thankful for them making time to see my baby. We found out that his tooth was pushed back into his gums, so it is still there and now two months later it’s working it’s way back down! Yay! So long review long…I wish I lived in Spokane because this is the BEST dentist in Washington, I am considering driving the 4+ hours to have my son be seen here for his exams. They are 100%, hands down, 10/10 the best place to bring your child(ren).

Fantastic experience: My 10 year old lost a filling 2 day ago. When I called his normal dentist Childrens Choice on the North side of Spokane we were informed their offices were closed and referred to Childrens Choice Pediatric Dentistry on East 30th. They were outstanding from the first contact. I called Thursday morning and they we able to get my son scheduled the very next day. The receptionist even called me shortly after I had booked his appointment for a later appointment since we were driving so far away. Due to work obligations I couldn’t change the the original time but so grateful that they still called to offer a later same day appointment. Once we arrived for his scheduled appointment we were seen right away. The Dentist took X-rays and explained the best treatment plan and began work right away. From start to finish it was an hour and 15 minutes.Everyone was so kind and supportive to my son. He said that everyone was awesome. I don’t ever feel like I have to worry about his dental treatments because I know he’s being taken care of as if he was a member of the staffs own family! Bonus points for him getting a sticky hand surprise out of the prize box to play with on the ride home. Truly Reccomend any parent to take their children to Childrens Choice. Respectfully one grateful momma.

Fantastic experience: My toddler was scared and crying when she sat in the chair. The assistant was the sweetest person and did everything to get her to calm down. It only took her about 3 minutes to get my toddler to smile and sit in the chair. She sat in the chair with no fight the rest of the time. Her and all of the staff have always been so patient with my kids, especially my toddler and we appreciate it so much! My toddler talked about her teeth for the rest of the day. Fantastic experience: Both of my little kids have gone here since they grew their first teeth, great place, very good and accommodating for squirmy or nervous kids. Apts are also nice and fast, so you don't have to try 'n get a 2 yr old to comply for 30 mins.

After not having that sort of direction as a child I really appreciate it so I can give my son great teeth Health and he can teach his kids. Our preschoolers go back and forth about loving or being terrified of the dentist, and each time they are so gentle and patient with them, regardless of how they are feeling about the dentist. Fantastic experience: All three of my kids havent been seen for a while and we were looking to establish care. We were seen within days, all together, and in a timely fashion. South location did a great job with my family. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. My oldest son had alot of anxiety due to past experiences elsewhere and the Dentist we saw advised him to always ask questions and that they would never do something abruptly without talking him through it first. The team we saw also helped coach my son on healthy habits for preventative care so he can have better experiences in the future. (Meaning he’s never had to be numbed before) When he came home with his dad he didn’t even realized they used a needle to numb him! Fantastic experience: Coming to this dentistry was a blessing ! Not your ordinary dentist office at all! These guys were so very calm and patient with my son and I. My son is 8 years old and can be quite rowdy from time to time. Last night he was running around our apt when he slipped, fell on his face, and nearly knocked out his 2 front teeth. I brought him in, explained the situation, and they had us out with newly fixed teeth within a couple of hours! My son had an amazing experience and can't wait to go back.
