Fantastic experience: Today I had my teeth cleaned by Britney and she did an excellent job, pointed out things for me to keep up with. She was knowledgeable, experience, and professional throughout the procedure yet friendly, personal and kind which made a big difference for me. She kept me informed of everything she was doing, telling me what to expect so that I was comfortable and relaxed during the procedure. Dr. Rae Scruggs came in and checked on me. She is the best. The staff is friendly and helpful making the office an enjoyable place to visit. I would highly recommend this dental office, definitely!

Negative experience: Told me I had a cracked tooth , it had too much decay so it needed to be pulled or have a root canal. Went to a different dentist who took X-rays as well and found no issues. To this day I've had no issues with the tooth or any other tooth. I have inflammation caused by a root canal from time to time. ( That was the issue)

Denise is my girl like literally and to top it off Dr Scruggs complimented me today saying how great I do with my hygiene I felt like a child getting a golden star today … they are all the best and now my brother goes so it’s a family thing oh and I purchased the professional grade tooth brush from them today in PINK bc I’m that girl of course so now im really excited about my smile even more .

Fantastic experience: I've spent the last month having consultations done with 5 different dentist for some implants I need done. Scruggs made me feel the most comfortable, explained things the best, isn't the most expensive and even handled getting some documentation from another dentist office for me so I didn't have to. Without a doubt Scruggs is the best option from Longview to Bossier.

Fantastic experience: I have extreme anxiety when it comes to the dentist. I had a horrible experience a few years ago that left me very reluctant to ever see a dentist again. But I knew I needed to take care of my teeth, so after discussions with a coworker, I made an appt with Scruggs. From the moment I walked in the door, the staff made sure that I felt as comfortable as possible. The front desk staff were so incredibly kind and cheerful! The hygienist I saw, I cannot remember her name, was very gentle and thorough with my X-rays and cleaning. When I expressed my anxieties to her, she listened and reassured me that they would treat me with the upmost respect. Once she finished, she had Dr Rae come in to look at something on my X-rays and she was a breath of fresh air. Seriously, I don’t know if they have something in the air in the office or what, but everyone was so kind and pleasant. Overall, my experience was excellent! And my teeth are nice and shiny now

Fantastic experience: Awesome Dentist Office. I had a bad toothache and was looking for a new Dentist. I was recommended Scruggs Dentistry by a family member over Labor Day weekend. So,Tuesday 09/02/25 I called and got setup with an appointment same day. Super friendly staff. The dentist explained what was going on with my teeth and what was needed. Next day, I had a cleaning done. Very relaxing environment. So what I forgot to mention is that I haven’t been to a dentist in over 20+ years (We Look and We Don’t Judge) lol. All this is new to me, so I didnt know what to expect. The cleaning procedure lasted about an hour with no major pain involved. They were very careful while working in my mouth & I can tell a difference too. If you’re looking for experienced dentist, with great staff and a relaxing environment, this is the place to go.

Fantastic experience: I always have the best experience here! LeeAnne does a wonderful job as my dental hygienist and is always giving me advice on ways to better my smile. She is always so easy going and is attentive to every issue I may have. Rae also does an amazing job! I had a dark spot show up on a scan and after seeing multiple dentist none mentioned anything about it. Rae was able to tell it was a cyst and referred me to an oral surgeon. The cyst was removed and Scruggs Dentistry has sense then stayed on top of checking it yearly. I even had my husband switch to them because they are just so good! If you’re looking for a sign to switch dentist this is it! I highly recommend them :)

Dr Scruggs is always good to make sure I am completely numb and he and his staff are careful and attentive of things like making sure they don’t have my lip pinched. I had some very bad stains from drinking coffee and Red wine… was the last appointment of Lee Anne ‘s very long day and she tackled it like I was her first!!! Lee Anne has been a hygienist for 35 years and was very informative about what I needed to do to take care of my teeth. I have had extensive implants, crowns , fillings etc. so I’m not any easy case. Fantastic experience: Went in for a filling, but had so much other work that needed to be done. Put me on antibiotics, set me up another appointment for 2 weeks. He’s a very caring considerate dentist. His employers are absolutely the best. If your not keen on dentist he’s the perfect one for you!

Fantastic experience: Great first visit!! Receptionist was very pleasant. We taken back to the exam room quickly and taken care of right away. I had an issue with a tooth that I had been to at least 3 other dentist for and instead of taking care of the tooth I came in for, they were more interested in telling me what else I needed to fix. Dr Scuggs got straight to the problem and took care of me. The assistant/technician was awesome!!!! I need additional work done that Dr Scruggs assured me she could do with no problem and without all $$$$ things the other dentists said I needed. I have officially found my new dentist.

Fantastic experience: My husband had a horrendous toothache over the weekend. Sheer. Misery. We literally showed up on the doorstep of Dr. Scruggs’ office Monday morning without an appointment. The staff, as always, was incredibly friendly, efficient, and helpful and worked us right in! Dr. Scruggs got to work in between his existing patients and took care of that terrible tooth! He’s always so friendly and genuinely seems to care about his patients. He actually makes going to the dentist fun and stress free! Dr. Scruggs has taken care of both of us over the last year or so, and we couldn’t be more pleased with Doc, his staff, and his treatments. Extractions and bridges and crowns, oh my!! It’s been an adventure! We’ll be back!

Fantastic experience: I love my dental darlin'Dr. Rae Scruggs! Several years ago, when Scruggs dental office was much smaller and located on East 70th Street, I needed a molar extracted yesterday! Dr. Rae is a Humana Preferred Provider and when I called she, and her small but accomplished office staff and skilled dental hygienist, had me reclined and reassured that she was old enough to be practicing medicine even with a license and the sheepskin that's framed on the wall! WOWEE! I had the best time at my first appointment with Dr. Rae and her friendly, caring staff. She pulled the bane of my recent existence with skilled precision and lightening fast! As we got to know each other we had quite a few early life's experiences in common and found that we were kindred spirits...that's a rare connection to be made and rarely with one's Diva of Dental Development...my quest for a Gum Grabber was over...I had found a permanent place to park my custom made plates and partials and know that I am in better hands than All-State with Dr. Rae and her amazingly friendly and always professionally accommodating staff! I love my dentist are the first words to leave my lips when trading dental war stories out in the trenches! The first tooth she snatched from my gums...well it took longer to numb said gums with all the Novacaine than it took her to pull the offending lump of root and enamel! She said okay that's it...all done! No way Jose! Oh yes...Dr. Rae is that fast and that good! I was a tad apprehensive when we first met...but this pup showed this old road warrior who was Queen of the Kennel and I have come to Scruggs Family Dentistry for all my mouth maintenance needs! Thanks so much for taking good care of me and my choppers...I feel quite fortunate to have found a member of the medical profession who knows what they're doing and are doing it well and with great care! If you were an Olympic event I'd give you 10 out of 10!
