Fantastic experience: Have been going here for a few years now for my kids. We have never had any problems here. I highly recommend you check this place out if you are looking for a new dentist. Negative experience: I've heard good things about Lollipop Dental, but our experience has not been positive. The problem is mostly with dishonest billing and it felt like they were more about making money than providing the best care to patients. I was told later not to go to chain dentist places, and I get why now. My kid needed more treatments (filling/crown) than just the standard cleaning. We were told to get general anesthesia for the treatments. The problem is that they want a $400 nonrefundable deposit to schedule the appointment. They said anesthesia will cost around $800 + $120/hour. Another reviewer mentioned they paid $1,275 for anesthesia alone. Additionally, the staff won't tell us the total cost of the treatment, including anesthesia and all the dental work. They also won't check insurance to give us a quote until we pay the deposit. It's just such a shady process. Also, I tend to get X-ray copies for my records. I've never had dental offices charging for them. However, they charge $35 for them here. I ended up going to another dentist's office and was much happier. They were so good with kids. They promised to always let me know my out-of-pocket cost before a procedure. They also didn't charge for X-ray copies. The dentist was so skilled that he was able to complete everything for my kid without the use of laughing gas or general anesthesia.

Fantastic experience: I came here to get a second opinion for my 3yo daughter, her previous dentist said she had 6 cavities and needed 3 crowns. Here at Lollipop Dental they reassured me she DID NOT need those crowns. Everyone was so nice and welcoming, I am excited to continue my daughters journey with Lollipop Dental. Negative experience: Absolutely Terrible Experience – Avoid at All Costs I rarely leave reviews, but my experience at Lilliop Dentistry was so shockingly bad I feel obligated to warn others. Even though the front desk staff is friendly, my appointments started over 30 minutes late EVERY TIME!!!! with no apology, and the dentist/technitian seemed rushed and inattentive. I felt like we are just another number, not a patient. What’s worse, they pushed procedures without properly explaining them, and the billing process was full of hidden charges and zero transparency. The expander broke within less than a week from installation, we had to wait about 2 months for replacement, tremendously delaying the start of the treatment. One time, a technician was rude and gave me unsolicited advice on how me & my husband should manage our time and come together to my son's appointments. Very, very disappointed and frustrated to end the contract.

Fantastic experience: Front office ladies are great they always greet u at the door and check in time is fast!! This dental office is great for kids!Staff is always super friendly and the office is always clean, Dr Gabby is great with kids she explains the treatment before she starts and makes sure the patient is doing well thru out the procedure,Connie was a great assistant as well! Fantastic experience: My 5 year old daughter is a tough patient. I always get nervous to bring her to a new doctor or dentist because she refuses to participate. This was our first visit at this dentist and I was blown away by how they encouraged my daughter. They were patient, they played hide and seek with her, gave her a ton of little toys to help her feel comfortable. I recommend this dentist office to anyone who has a kid like mine!

Fantastic experience: My son has a lot of cavities. 2 molars on both sides had been infected and had pus for weeks. One time, he had pain and a swollen face. We had to take him to the ER. There was no other way to put him to sleep for teeth treatment because he has sleep apnea and tonsils. We had to wait for the tonsils/sleep apnea treatment first, then put him to sleep for dental work. The waiting time was so long, and his teeth hurt every day. We were so worried and didn’t know what to do. Luckily, we met Dr. Mary Pham at Lollipops Dental. She helped us remove the two infected molars on both sides. Thank you God for sending Dr Pham to help my son. Thank you Dr. Pham so much.”

Positive experience: Place could be a little cleaner,the restrooms are disgusting,dark and not stocked. For a place that serves kids,it should be kept up more. The dental service itself was okay. Negative experience: Since Lollipop's expansion to several locations and focus on maximizing profits over customer service and satisfaction, everything has gone downhill. When my son was a patient here, everything was done in a timely and orderly fashion. Booking appointments was a breeze. If he needed to be scheduled a month later, it would be a month. There were times when it would be five weeks because there were no time openings, and this is completely understandable. However, what is not understandable nor acceptable is the experience my daughter is having right now. I was told that she would need to come in again a month later to modify/change her existing wire for her braces. Once going up to the front desk to book an appointment, there were no appointments in a month. The closest they could find was seven weeks later. This is laughable; what ever happened to the time estimate that this practice so strove to meet to have their patients with beautiful and perfect teeth? Fast forward to now, my daughter recently got her wire changed. Typical routine of them to ask the patient whether the wire is poking them. My daughter told them no and felt fine until now. The wire is now poking her and, throughout the day, I need to give her painkillers to minimize the pain. Eating has now become a chore as the wire constantly snags on her. I called the office to see if they could fit my daughter in to fix this small problem and was told that the soonest time they could fit me in is five days from now. I am no dentist but from using some thinking skills, I believe that clipping or bending a wire so it is no longer hurting my daughter is not that difficult of a task. She no longer has an appetite to eat because of the pain. She no longer talks as much. And the soonest I can get her in to fix this is five days from now. This is absurd. She cannot do a walk-in or be squeezed in because the office is "so busy". How long does clipping a wire take? With how long the office apparently thinks it takes, I think I can make an entire enclosure of fence wire to prevent farm animals from escaping. There are so many theories that exist that to maximize profits, one should strive to increase customer satisfaction. Opening more offices and employing new people everywhere is not the solution. Sure, you can get more people into the door and become patients. The real question is when will this catch up to you to where you can no longer create value for customers, build strong relationships, and understand needs to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.

Negative experience: I just took my 5 year old son for his regular check up. The dental hygienist took him to the X Ray room right after he was called in and asked me to wait in another area. I told the hygienist that x rays were taken 6month ago. Why do we need another X Ray? She said it’s typical practice at this age. But when I got home, did my own research, and found out it is recommended every 12~24month unless there is specific risk factor. My son does not have any cavities or risk of decay. They just took the X rays without a good reason. At the end of cleaning, my son wanted more rinse. The hygienist was a little annoyed and ask him to go rinse at the sink. Also, they charge me for nutritional consulting for $34. No one mentioned anything about nutrition or food during the whole visit. We don’t feel like we were treated as a patient but more like a ATM. In and out was less than 15 min. Total fraud! ___________ Since the owner responded to my original review, here my update. The owner is saying that it is possible that communication was not clear at the time. NOT TURE!! No communications at all. No one reviewed my son's chart. No one explained it to me. No one ask for my permission. Even when I expressed my concerns with the X-rays, the staff ignored me and saying whatever she is doing is right asked me to get out of the area. Your business was just trying to get as much X-ray as possible and get money from the insurance. Regarding the billing, I asked front desk, they said they can't provide me itemized receipt but I need to pay first and wait for an email from billing. Also, before leaving this review I called your office, your billing, and also sent email to complain, all I hear is that you need to talk to someone else.

Fantastic experience: I am so happy my child heard about lollipop dental at her school and through a couple of her friends who were patients themselves so I called and made her an appointment. The dentists and staff are thee best....they explain everything and make sure you understand completely what procedures they will be performing. They make your child so comfortable throughout the experience ,while the works being done they are able to watch a movie ( wearing some cool shades that block the bright light while allowing them to still watch a fun movie on the tv above ) they also always make sure to ask the child how they're doing while works being done. I wish going to the dentist was this easy when my older two kids were little or honestly when I was a kid it would have been helpful and thank you Eseranza for the help checking in and setting our next appnt. will definitely be referring anyone I know looking for a kids dentist.

Negative experience: Beware of this place. They fraudulently billed my insurance for work on my daughters when we NEVER used this place for regular dental procedures. I’m in the process of filing my complaint. They also come back YEARS after completed orthodontic work asking for more money, AND,falsely sending me to collections!!!

Fantastic experience: Very well taken care of. Penelope was amazing with my son. He asks a lot of questions but Penelope was so patient with him and Arely also assisted and took care of business. Fantastic experience: We left out last dentist after being very unhappy. We looked into recs from friends and Lollipop Dental came HIGHLY recommend. I must admit I was nervous and had my own trepidations about it but they were AMAZING! Kind and caring. Efficient and worked so well with the kids. It was like the Disneyland of Dentistry! Kiah our assistant as kind and welcoming and the kids felt at easy at once. Fantastic experience: I have been bringing all 6 of my kids here for a few years now and love how friendly they are and knowledgeable with my kids oral health and treatment needed. They are all sweet with the kids so much so that my 4 year old daughter gets excited to go. Fantastic experience: Definitely recommend this place to any parents that are nervous. First time taking my son for a dental cleaning and they were so patient. Kaitlin was so sweet my son was crying and she wasn’t bother and worked quickly giving him breaks in between. Before leaving the receptionist gave him a goodie bag and balloon. Fantastic experience: This place was perfect for the first time visit to the dentist for my toddler. She is usually very shy and scared of new places but the staff here made her feel so welcome and she cooperated with them so well. Morgan helped us check us in at the front desk and was so friendly and bubbly and gave us gifts. I'm so glad i found this place.
