Dental Dreams - Allentown: Reviews
Fantastic experience: Well this is the first time I have taken my daughter to this place and I from the beginning to the next step it's great place for my daughter to be taken care of very polite from desk personnel and very good doctors was very helpful with my daughter and that is a great place for my kids so yes I recommend dental dream for my family and friends I thanks you and God bless
Fantastic experience: The staff was very courteous, helpful, and professional
Fantastic experience: Very courteous staff there. The dentist was professional and cared how I was doing while he filled my teeth.
Fantastic experience: Such a pleasant experience with my daughter. The staff was super nice, the dentist was kind and thorough and we played at the play place after :) all around great visit for my daughter’s first visit to the dentist, thank you!
Fantastic experience: Dr Jacob is a sweetheart, very kind informative and reassuring. I got my tooth extracted pleasant experience. The wait is very long until you actually see a dentist but the open availability to schedule appointments kind of makes it worth it.
Negative experience: Worst experience of my life. That is 3 hours I will never get again. The staff was fine like the receptionist and X-ray tech, but the dentist absolutely ignorant. I honestly hope she loses her license.
Fantastic experience: Great dentist was very concerning on how I was during procedure very friendly.
Fantastic experience: Went there for the first time today they ended up being able to Do more than they needed really took care of me. People are so friendly. Make sure you come correct.
Positive experience: Very polite very professional I think they’re great thank you
Fantastic experience: I was greeted with kindness from the front desk. The Dr. and his assistant were precise with treating me.I would return.
Negative experience: Long wait, understaffed and no acknowledgement or update that it would be a long wait because of staffing issues. Poor customer service
Fantastic experience: Quick, thorough and got what I needed fixed done at my first visit. Will definitely make this my new dentist not only for myself but my children as well.
Fantastic experience: Always good friendly quick cleaning for me.
Negative experience: They screwed my son. From getting his partials wouldn't go there again
Negative experience: I went here to get fillings done the dentists did a terrible job. I found out all fillings were loose now I have to get them redone by a different dental company.
Fantastic experience: I literally am so happy with the service provided to me today. Fast and completely made me feel comfortable They seen me right away and did not make me wait. Everyone was very friendly to me. Thank you so much for making me feel comfortable for providing me the best service I’ve ever had with any dentist I’ve ever been to. You guys are just so so awesome
Fantastic experience: Very friendly and caring people. Helped address all of my concerns.
Fantastic experience: Dr. NATE I believe was his name. He was very helpful and did everything he could to help my situation. Just upsetting how long it takes to get replacements. Its a whole series of multiple appts. But other then that I would recommended them.
Fantastic experience: I have to say strongly recommend Dental Dreams of Whitehall, Pa for there gentle touch of all around Professional care they treated me . The young ladies at the reception / intake counter to the back staff especially the beautiful wounderful women who took all my exrays ? Abigale hope I’m not wrong with her name., had a tooth pulled and the gentleman who extracted the tooth knows how to handle his job well so no pain at all. Before or after.. Again I like to say two dumbs up class A service,
Fantastic experience: Very nice staff, Dr Bob does great work and makes you laugh and relax especially if your nervous or get anxiety going to the dentist... I would definitely recommend this place
Negative experience: This place is dirty and disgusting. They rush u out. The dentist did the cleaning and no flossing was even done. Like what kind of place is this. I will never ever go here again!!!
Negative experience: A shady dentist as I have a cavity they wouldn’t address due to it “not appearing on the X-ray.” To mention the fact they didn’t use the correct prophylactic tools to remove the plaque from my teeth and gums, nor did they bother to floss my teeth. The dental X-ray tech was less than professional as she needed multiple re images. And the check in staff was less than friendly. Least said this was a terrible dental experience.
Fantastic experience: Everyone was so nice there !!! I went in for a cleaning and the doctor took his time didn’t feel rushed my teeth look so much cleaner Would totally recommend to friends & family
Fantastic experience: Had a great experience here. I was a little hesitant due to the mix reviews, but it's one of the only offices in the area that can get you in fast. Doctor was friendly and informative. A bit of a wait time but as you can expect for corporate dentistry. Go try this place out WAY better them Smiles for Keeps!! at least the staff was nice and friendly
Negative experience: Had a 10am appointment. Arrived earlier, as I do with all my appointments when possible. Waited for about an hour after my scheduled appointment till I was finally taken make to a room. Sat there waiting for the dentist to do my simple routine cleaning. At 11:30, 1 1/2 hours after my scheduled appointment time, I still hadn’t seen the dentist. At that point I walked out to let the ladies at the front desk know I was leaving. Just insane. Really unprofessional and lack of care and respect for the time of patients. Appointments are made because we have other stuff to do in our lives and schedules of our own, not just for giggles.
Negative experience: My appointment was for 11:00 I wasn’t seen till 12:30 when they finally called me back I told the doctor I had to use the bathroom ( I was gone for 2 minutes ) and by the time I was out of the bathroom the doctor moved on to the next person having me wait even longer ! This place is unprofessional.
Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at dental dreams today!
Negative experience: Terrible. Staff is extremely rude and unprofessional, the dentist is rude and unprofessional. The waiting area is disgusting and dirty and so is the rest of the place. I had to wait there for over an hour (I had an appointment) and when I asked if my daughter was going to be taken back they gave me an attitude. This is supposed to be a dental office for kids too. The dentist wasn’t warm or welcoming OR kid friendly. Will never go here ever again.
Fantastic experience: I was very comfortable being with them and appreciated how professional they were. Not only did they do their job but they were also very empathetic and gentle during the procedure. On a scale of 1-10 I give them an 11!
Negative experience: An absolute nightmare. This location provided the absolute worst dental experience that i have ever had. There was ZERO communication between patient and dentist. I had been told and asked nothing of what the appointment would entail. I only found out that they would be doing a filling during my appointment when i suddenly felt the drill on my teeth. There were zero concens for a frightened patient's comfort outside of physical pain even when I'd started crying. When voicing concerns and being startled by the drill, all i was met with was annoyance and impatience. After the filling was over, there were zero instructions of whether i could eat or drink afterwards or how long to wait. I will never be returning to this business again.
Negative experience: I have had no problems with the crown that was done at Dental Dreams. Otherwise I found pretty unsatisfactory and would never return there. In spite of appointment over an hour long wait, one tech began drilling without waiting for the shot to take effect, General lack of consideration.
Negative experience: They always schedule 5-10people for the SAME exact time then you don’t get seen for 2hrs past your scheduled time. they rush and are super sloppy. The one dentist gave me a cleaning, all they did was spray my teeth with water n sent me on my way. he then quoted me $1500 for one root canal and refused to take my Amerihealth insurance. On another visit, a different dentist went to do my fillings, didn’t even talk to me about it had to call off work cuz she just started numbing my mouth and they filled two teeth together!!!! I can no longer floss between these two teeth and things constantly get stuck. Why would she not do one at a time?? Rushing, sloppy, over packed. Come with caution
Positive experience: Amazing Staff.Very Friendly and very attentive to their patients.I got my tooth extracted and it went way better than I thought. Great experience!
Fantastic experience: Employees were very welcome, once you entered . The dentist Did an awesome Job calming my brother due to his anxiety with cleaning , after him not seeing a dentist over 7 years.
Fantastic experience: My dentist really made me feel at home was very knowledgeable and polite I pray him and his team the best of luck
Negative experience: I usually never post bad reviews! Ever!! this is actually the first one I’ve ever written in my lifetime but I felt it was necessary. I stopped coming here years ago because they always had excuses for why I couldn’t just get a regular cleaning, and they’d try to make me come back multiple times. When I switched to another dentist, my son and I never had issues with cleanings or referrals. Recently, I had some time off but couldn’t get into my preferred dentist, so I came back here for a cleaning. Once again, I was told I couldn’t get a cleaning in one visit and that I’d need to come back for 3 separate appointments. I’ve never had this issue anywhere else. This is exactly why I stopped coming here in the first place. It’s frustrating when you have a busy schedule and your time is wasted. They waste your time and make everything more complicated than it needs to be. Never again.
Negative experience: Everytime I go for my routine teeth cleaning, I'm told they cannot clean my entire teeth because I drink coffee and my teeth are stained. I am wondering why it's then called teeth cleaning. I had questions for the dentist I saw last time and she was really impatient and dismissive of my concerns. I only gave 2 stars because she ended up cleaning each teeth even though she initially said she won't be able to. Not sure if I'll be returning. I might find somewhere else to go.
Negative experience: I had to wait because the computer went down, fine I get it BUT then looking at my trays they bring me a treatment plan for $5,000 worth of work saying "your insurance doesn't cover" the procedures. I left the office and IMMEDIATELY called my insurance. They in fact DO cover the procedure with a prior authorization!! This place is only in it to make money from people who dont have it!
Negative experience: The receptionist told me my appointment was at 2pm when I know it was at 9am because I wrote it down.so she fit me in at 10am just say you overbooked that I understand but don't make like I am crcr and laugh about it with your colleagues in front of my face I swear if I didn't have my money invested in these teeth I would never return
Fantastic experience: Dental Dreams is Excellent location, I had top dentures and bottom partial. Dentures look great, staff was very professional and efficient. Done in timely manner. Would recommend to everyone
Positive experience: Everyone in the front desk was nice. They all speak English and Spanish. The doctor was amazing.
Negative experience: It Was A Complete Waste Of Time Waiting For My Appointment & The receptionist Should Of Been Straight Up Honest About My Insurance Coverage Over The Phone When I Asked Her About It, Which I Find That Very Unprofessional.
Negative experience: The worst experience with a female dentist Super insensitive and A real disappointment She got upset with me for having pain She didn't even give it 2 minutes for the anesthesia to kick in and got even more upset that i complained about it Nasty person Don't go, much less take your kids there! It's bad enough it takes some nerves to go to these appointments, plus you still get anxious And tryna to be civil is difficult when a person dismisses and shows some hostility, maybe even racism.
Negative experience: It was fast and quick front desk was nice just to much talking about personal thing. The hygienist was to rough on my daughter teeth she was bleeding and said she don’t ever wanna go back
Negative experience: This place is horrible! But my insurance is no better. So I have to settle currently looking for new Dentist. If you have all the time to sit hours after your scheduled appointment to be called than this the place for you. They will seriously push your appointment back and tell you , you weren’t scheduled that time. It’s sad and it’s getting real old. When you finally get called they have all sorts of attitudes and rush procedures like you were the one unprofessionally late. Gotta do better Dental Dreams! Cause it’s more like a dental nightmare walking into that place.
Negative experience: First was told that I can pay cash without insurance and receive 30% cash discount. Then they said no discount you have to pay full price. Finally got the discount approved first from doctor and then office manager and then the receptionist said you will only receive this discount from next visit today visit you have still have to pay full . Greedy petty office manager.
Fantastic experience: The dentist was reassuring my issues I was having would be a priority and taken care of. This was vitally important due my issues not being resolved at previous dentist especially after a couple visits. I expressed my concerns and she was kind and very respectful
Negative experience: The dentist did not thoroughly look at my teeth. I told her I was having a problem with my left back molar and I know for a fact there’s something going on with this right side molar, with my tongue I can feel a hole. She did say I have no cavities and she also said the spacing is because I am getting older.
Fantastic experience: Had my first visit here and was quite nervous as I have high anxiety when it comes to doctors appointments. The staff was extremely friendly and kind. When getting Xrays, the dental assistant was so patient with me and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. She walked me through the entire process and made sure I was informed about what was happening next, which gave me so much relief and helped me calm down! The doctor was also extremely kind, informative and helpful! I look forward to my next appointment!
Negative experience: Probably the worst dental visit I’ve experienced ever! Walk in receptionist talking no greeting, then proceeded to talk to us the whole time with a lollipop in her mouth while on the phone with another customer. extremely unprofessional, while the other receptionist just sat there in with a blank stare. Then we finally went to the back they took x rays which they never went over with me, then the doctor came in opened my mouth said I need a deep cleaning and they can’t do anything else until I pay $1600 dollars for it then basically dismissed me! Worst experience ever, terrible customer service, doctor was extremely dismissive and even worse pricing. Will not be coming back!
Fantastic experience: I waited only 20 min to be called everything was smooth .the dentist helped me with what I needed. I will recommend. Thank you .
Negative experience: The women at the front desk are very rude. My insurance denied a service through them. And they called and left seven voice messages within a matter of an hour and a half. And when I call them to tell them to stop calling me and I am no longer coming to them the woman gave me an attitude and hung the phone up. This place is absolutely horrible they do not know how to treat people with respect.
Negative experience: Angelina has a horrible attitude with children! She wasn't even taking care of my kid for 5 minutes and already threatening he would have to leave if he couldn't open his mouth because she's not a children dentist yet that's what you guys promote all over the place !!! The eye rolling and speaking to a child like that is very unexpected and uncalled for!! SHE NEEDS TO BE FIRED AND NEVER WORK AT ANY OTHER DENTIST AGAIN.
Fantastic experience: Honestly surprised by how many negative reviews are on here. I’ve always had a wonderful, straight to the point visit. Yes the place can get busy sometimes, be patient. If your looking for a fancy dentist office with lots of frills, don’t go here. If you just want good quality, friendly service while supporting a doctors office here to serve the community, go here. They are great and also almost everyone is bilingual, which I personally think is super! Thanks Dental Dreams for all your care and support!
Negative experience: If I could give NO stars I would.. Definitely don't recommend coming here. Waited 40 minutes for an appointment, no updates given and front desk staff unprofessional conversations in front of people. Upset about wanting to be outside but having to wait for a patients appointment.. bad staff. smh
Negative experience: It was the worst service I ever seen and Experienced..the Receptionist Are the worst when you go in to Check in they are to Busy talking to each other And they ignore you. Once they call you in Be prepared to stay for an hour.My appointment was for 11:30am I came out at 1:00pm. And the funny thing was when the doctor come in look at my Teeth, told me I need a deep, but Unfortunately My insurance does not pay for it So they send me home. The worst Dentist appointment ever do not recommend.
Negative experience: They will hustle to get more money from the insurance company and get a bigger deductible from you also every time I go there I have to wait in the room 1 hour to be seen. Yesterday was my last day going there.
Negative experience: Highly unlikely to go back I will be looking for another dentist for my kids , the dentist didn’t even bother to mention if my kids had anything until I opened up my mouth .Also staff in the front so rude i wasn’t greeted until like 5mins after standing there. My appointment time was for 12:30 didn’t go back until 2:15 and they worked on my kids so fast and I don’t remember none of this as kid this place is rushed
Negative experience: Done! surrounding could use some help kind of scary need janitor to clean up. Don't know who my case management talk to someone about what was to be done no one was inform of this temp filling replacement and teeth cleaning it was not happening there. No need to go on with this office. Not much more explain about Dental Dreams it the same with other locations also.
Negative experience: Terrible office, surprised that they’re still open. Almost 2 years ago I got a root canal done here. I know root canals are a lengthy process that lasts multiple visits, but I spent a month and a half in early 2023 in and out every other day to get it done. Once I had my permanent crown put on, I knew it didn’t look right. But I was soo tired of the carelessness of the staff and going in every other day, that I said okay and left. I went to a new dentist in December, for them to tell me that the crown was in extremely poor condition and I could’ve had possible leakage. My new dentist suggested me to an Endonotics just for a second opinion on whether I needed a re-do on the root canal, but was sure the crown needed rework. Thankfully, the Endonotics I went to said I had no leakage but again, told me my crown was no good and needed to be fixed before it could crack and leakage could happen. I just got my new temporary crown in, my new permanent one should be ready in about 2 weeks. When they took my old crown off, the assistant of the dentist couldn’t believe that what Dental Dreams gave me was a crown and there was still decay that was not properly removed before the crown had been place. Ridiculous! With this to say, Dental Dreams is awful and had they cared a little I wouldn’t have to do this again. Don’t go here if you want your teeth to actually be taken care of. Edit: not to mention, when I told both my new dentist and the Endonotist who/where I got my root canal and crown done, they both physically and audibly looked unsurprised and went “oh no/ah man”. If nothing else convinces you to stay away, it should be the fact that other offices know how bad this one is that they go oh no at the name.
Negative experience: Absolutely terrible staff . Does not work well with kids. Staff does not know how to do their jobs the dentists are miserable management is a joke and they are racist against white people . Take your kids somewhere else if you care about them- unclean environment and sit there for three hours past your scheduled time every time
Positive experience: The office is probably fun for children but they do not do standard cleaning for adults only periodontal cleaning which is very expensive and is not covered by your insurance General Dentistry only applies to children in this office The dentist was super professional and kind and the office staff was very very kind that's worth its weight in gold I was just very disappointed that I couldn't get the care I needed
Fantastic experience: This is such an amazing dentist office. They are super friendly when scheduling appointments and assisting with insurance questions. In addition, the dentist was wonderful with my daughter who is on the spectrum. She looks forward going to the dentist now whereas she did not previously. We've been going to this dentist for two years and I've referred others who have since switched over.
Fantastic experience: i’ve been going there for years. I highly recommend them. They treated me very fair. Staff is very pleasant to talk to. Doctors are Awesome, I highly recommend them to anyone…
Positive experience: Had my first appt yesterday. It went smooth. I get PTSD from past dental experience but yesterdays appt was ok. The only thing I didn’t like that Nayeli and other staff members were giggling. It made me feel like if they were makin fun of me being that my teeth are not in such good condition. I don’t like the giggling. That makes me feel uncomfortable and those are reasons I wouldn’t return back to the dentist.
Fantastic experience: What a pleasure it was to meet with the team at Dental Dreams. They were caring , efficient, and professional. I am glad to have found them and to have a new team to help me keep my smile the best it can be. Update : After many months working with Dental Dreams, I am pleased to say that I have had a very amazing experience with the dentist and staff. They are always willing to help and make an unpleasant experience as easy and pain free as possible. The care I have received has been extraordinary. Highly recommend!
Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience at Dental Dreams! From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcome and at ease. The doctor and nurses were incredibly kind and down-to-earth, taking the time to explain everything and ensuring I was comfortable throughout my visit. They really helped me with exactly what I needed, and I left feeling confident in my dental care. I highly recommend Dental Dreams for anyone looking for professional, friendly, and compassionate service.
Negative experience: Julissa in the front Refused to have me seen because I was late for five minutes! I live an hour away. There was snow and the roads were bad with traffic on Christmas Eve. Disgusting customer service, no manager to speak to wasted gas and tolls and time!!! Julissa really shouldn’t be working with people. She has anger issues. She looks unprofessional dirty.
Negative experience: The dentist was great. I came to get dentures upper and lower and the dental lab made the uppers great but the bottoms were crooked and jutted out. The dentist did her best to make them fit but it did not help. I can't wear them at all.
Negative experience: HORRIBLE!!! HORRIBLE!!!! HORRIBLE!!!!!! I wish I could give ZERO stars. It is FILTHY in here!!! FILTHY!!!!! And staff are so unprofessional. No one greets you, looks at you, just no people skills what so ever. Anyway, I made an appointment for my son for 2pm weeks ahead of time, I come in for my appointment they wanted to say my appointment was at 1230. I said no it was at 2, my son had half day, so there’s no way I would’ve scheduled it for 1230. Then I showed her my confirmation email that stated 2pm. Then the lady next to her said she moved him up to 1230 since a slot was open. So who was going to call me and confirm with me if that was ok before doing that? So yall just doing whatever you want in here huh? So my son’s appointment was at 2, why wasn’t my son taken back until AN HOUR after his scheduled appointment time, and then we sat back there for 30 minutes before the dentist came in! No apology or acknowledgment of the wait time either! So a cleaning that legit took less than 5 minutes had us sitting there for 1.5 hours, but the moment we are 5 minutes late yall so quick to turn patients away. Just completely unacceptable. Stop taking so many patients in one day if yall can’t handle them appropriately . Between here and Smile 4 Keepz, idk where to take my son, these places around here are unbelievably horrible!!! It’s just sad. Please don’t waste your time here unless you want to waste your day sitting in their office.
Negative experience: I was not happy with my services. I went for a regular cleaning.he didn't prop my mouth open so I had to struggle to keep it open the whole time he didn't have an assistant to help with the water suction I was confused as to is this what a visit to the dentist is now and days??the water was splashing all in my face I was like this isn't right.. and the dentist made a comment who said Dorney park was closed. Didn't apologize I was in awww.. time for a new dentist!!!!!
Fantastic experience: Another big cavity, another wisdom tooth and I was still in beginning of a 2 month waiting period to get a consultation with an oral surgeon- 2 months with that cavity would have been really bad. Doctor Grubb placed in a temporary filling on short notice and right now the tooth is not bothering me, I am able to eat and not feel pain, very happy! A ☆☆☆☆☆ rating!
Negative experience: They definitely don’t have the patience to deal with children. Their body language and face expressions says it all when they having a little extra work with a child. My son was around 5 or 6 when he had to get some x-rays done and he got a little difficult just crying. They got really upset about it and told me they can no longer see him literally just because he was crying. They only tried 2 times and gave up. On top of that you can tell from a mile away they was really upset about the situation. Face expressions body language and their tone of voice. They literally stop and said I had to take him somewhere else. Just for that my son for being a new patient somewhere else his appointment was a year after. Are they good with adults?! Maybe, with children NOT AT ALL!
Negative experience: Definitely was a bad experience! Appointment was at 1:30 got there at 1:00 waited till 2:15 to be called back to a room waited another 10 minutes until the dentist came in, looked at my son for not even 2 minutes and said his teeth look great. Environment definitely not clean. Will be looking for a new dentist
Negative experience: They medically perform unnecessary services even when they know your insurance won't cover it and you didn't consent. Tell you something different beforehand and then send you a bill. A very unethical work practice and business.
Negative experience: Unfortunately Dental Dreams has been going downhill. I’ve gone to this dentist for many years now and in the beginning it was a pleasant and professional place. The front desk however is now not so pleasant with all the gossip. With that being the least of my concern, the main issue is the cleanliness, the carpet is a poor sight now and the chairs are dirty and worn. I can only hope changes are made to improve Dental Dreams before we decide to change to a different Dental Clinic.
Negative experience: I was a previous patient of this place and I stopped going here for two years. I only came back because there were the only place that can see me right away for an emergency as I walked in the place. It was trash all over the floor. The floor has been vacuumed in months , I went by the managers office and told her what my concern were. She looked at me and gave me some excuses like if she didn’t care. The windows were so disgusting it looks like it’s not been clean over a year, The receptionist was so unethical and unprofessional you can hear the girls at the front desk smacking their gum of how loud they were chewing on it , I can hear the girls staying some vulgar words . Overall I love the doctor I wish she was stationed somewhere else . I definitely will not be coming back to this place. I left traumatized
Negative experience: I'm not sure how anyone is getting dental work at this location!? I scheduled my son for an appt on a Saturday morning and received a confirmation email . This little 4yr old was excited to go to the dentist but come 9AM on Saturday... the doors were locked. The hours on the door say 9-1. We waited for a 20min. Still no one. I ended up calling and leaving a voicemail for someone to call me and reschedule. I didn't hear from anyone for 4 days. I called again and had to leave a voicemail. Poor communication!!! Do NOT schedule an appt at this location!
Negative experience: Been coming here for years. And in the last year maybe two it had went downhill. First let’s start with, there’s no one who can bring your child other than mom/dad. Not a back up not a 30 yr old sibling no one. Note to new that’s ridiculous because not everyone has their father in the picture sadly but it’s reality to most. I work in the medical field and never have I heard of this. Usually a person can sign a form for the family that helps with a child. Secondly, if I wanted to know the business of the staff here we’d be friends. No one wants to know your daughter to your money, no one wants to know you had to Uber because you’re dead beat boyfriend took your car and didn’t bring back. This place gets me to where I want to run. This was the last appointment I will bring my daughter to here. It’s either find another place or they will find out how this mother can get.
Negative experience: The place is a mess. And it is not professional at all. To much talking and not a lot of customer care. The lady that is the dentist doesn't have good work ethic. And she doesn't do good work at all. You site out in the waiting area for amount as hour or more. The lady dentist talk so much to her coworkers more then taking time to do a good job with my teeth. All she does is a no care rushed job. No good.
Negative experience: DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!! First of all, they triple book the Dr. Myself and 2 other patients were talking one day and discovered we all had the same appointment time with the same Dr. Next, prepare to wait in the waiting area a minimum of 35 minutes. You can wait AT LEAST as long after they bring you back. One appointment I had at 9am. I was the first patient in the door when they opened. As I was signing in, the girl behind the desk informed me the Dr was running about 30 minutes behind. I asked her how that could be possible when they literally just unlocked the door and I’m the first patient signing in? The girl told me “oh the Dr hasn’t even left her house yet.” She said this as if it were normal. My last appointment was to try on a “replica” of my final dentures to make sure they fit properly and I was happy with the way they looked. The dentures were WAY to big. They couldn’t even be held in place with all the denture paste she applied after telling me I wouldn’t need any on top. As soon as I tried to talk, they were slipping all over my mouth. The dentist even said “I can’t understand you, let me take these out.” When she did, I told her my face still looks like I have no teeth even with the dentures in. She gave some ridiculous excuse. I asked her if the final ones would look the same way when I have them in and she said “yes they will look and fit exactly the same as what I was trying on today.” I left there so upset and depressed. I didn’t look any different with dentures in than I did without them and everything I had read said properly fitted dentures would improve the look of your face and your mouth wouldn’t be sunken in. I complained to corporate repeatedly. First a nasty girl from the local office called clearly angry that she had just spoken to the “big boss” and I “needed to contact the office immediately to speak to the dentist.” I left several messages and never received a call back. Today a woman from Corporate called me and told me because I was so unhappy and had mentioned contacting an attorney, I could “go find another dentist to do your dentures.” So the Corporate office of this National chain is just as bad as the local office. One last thing, you might be told you have an appointment with the Dentist but out of 5 appointments I saw the Dentist once. The other 4 times was a girl with very messy hair and dressed very sloppy. She literally looked like she got out of bed and came to work in her pajamas and didn’t even brush her hair. I can’t even comment about the girls out front because I can’t use words that would be appropriate for this review. I only gave one star because it wouldn’t let me give no stars. 6 appointments to get top and bottom dentures since January and I have nothing to show for it. They CLEARLY find anyway they can to over bill Medicaid. Save yourself a massive migraine and go somewhere else
Positive experience: This was my first visit and so far so good! The staff was very polite and reassuring when it came to answering my questions because I’m afraid of dentist. I will be returning
Negative experience: watch out as i took my mother in law for a cleaning and was told she needed extraction and deep cleaning on all 4 sides of her mouth ($2,000). I said no way and took her to a regular dentist who did it for $300 (without extraction). They are clearly trying to milk medicaid. in fact the firm has settled in the past according to google…..
Fantastic experience: Staff was always friendly and helpful. Dr. just as well. The best part is they gave me back my smile. For anyone who has lost their own in any sense, you understand how that feels. To get something back that you lost years before is an amazing gift. Thank you.
Negative experience: Very stressful experience. I witnessed a customer slap their tiny daughter across the face twice. No employee reacted. I had my one year old son with me & we waited over an hour & he was never seen.
Fantastic experience: I take me and my children here and we love they fast and ready. They did a great job with my dentures they look great. Totally worth the bit of wait when they come back looking good.
Fantastic experience: It's always good when I go to Dental Dreams. The staff is very polite and professional. Everything is explained to me in a way that I understand. The work that they do is top notch in my book.Thank you Dental Dreams.I appreciate you all...
Negative experience: Worst experience ever! We do like the dentists, except the Asian one that was there last time; she was rude! We love the others but we won’t be back because it’s ridiculous to keep and expect patients to wait over two hours!
Fantastic experience: Highly recommended. The Staff was very professional and very helpful I cannot say enough good things about them. They made me feel very comfortable and listen to all my Concerns. I am very Happy with my new Smile
Fantastic experience: Great service my dentist was very informative let me know what I needed. also I came for a second opinion on a condition that I was diagnosed with. The dentist carefully examined me and informed me that I did not need any additional procedures that I was told I needed. Great service very professional.
Negative experience: I had an appointment. I waited 2 1/2 hours to even be seen was not seen. They told me I will have to wait longer dental dreams sucks very unprofessional. I was quick. Find a new dentist.
Fantastic experience: I was very pleased with my dentist and her assistant. They were both very kind and understanding and made this experience as pain free as possible. I would definitely recommend this dentist for any dental procedures you need done!
Negative experience: I was Not Happy with them I asked if they took my insurance and they said they did, I asked first when I made the appointment then again when I went to my appt. I get in and I get X-rays done and then they come in with a bill of over $1,700.00 and I ask what's this and they say for 4 cleanings and I ask them what about my tooth that I need pulled, and then they say oh we can't do that right now you need a referral for a specialist from my family Dr. because I have a few teeth that need pulling.I also ask why isn't my insurance covering at least the cleanings and why 4? They then tell me that they don't carry my insurance (Health Partners) I then ask them then why didn't you tell me this before I even say in the dam chair I got up collected my belongings and told them this is ridiculous that I've been sitting here for over an hour waiting and you know tell me I have to pay for the cleanings and get a referral to get a tooth pulled I left, Very deceiving Now I have start all over with another search Never go here it's as bad as Aspen Dental all corporate owned decieving money grubbing companies
Negative experience: This place is a complete and total nightmare. Short story is everything is rushed and overall they just don't care. Long story below. As someone who sat through multiple appointments let me give you the experience. The service I went through today was a rushed filling. I had sat for over an hour and a half because the front desk overbooked all of the appointments. When we were finally seen the dentist started with the numbing. Immediately after the injection she began her work. She gave no time for the numbing to actually worked and then told me that the pain is normal. She had no assistant and proceeded to just cake on the filling. At one point she said "I just can't wait to get home already" while working. Immediately after the service she rushed us out and gave no information on what else should be scheduled or what she had seen.
Positive experience: Staff is polite. Office is clean. Not enough communication during visit. Dentist did not introduce themselves, as I thought they were an assistant. Didn't feel like the dentist really took their time to review ex-rays or explain what may need to be done. We had to ask the questions.
Positive experience: I’d say it was a 3.5. I scheduled my daughter’s appointment here, originally for Saturday, March 4th through the online portal. About a day before her appointment, they call me and tell me “sorry, we’re actually not open that day.” Mind you, I made the appointment weeks before. Okay, we reschedule for today at the same time, 9am. We get there at 8:48. Any appointment (nail, doctor, hair, dentist, etc) I’ve ever had, you usually show up a couple of minutes early to fill out the paperwork. Don’t expect that here. I asked them, “if the appointment is at 9, why would I show up at 9? She should be seen at 9.” I guess it was a somewhat bad morning and I just didn’t understand. They also told me “well sometimes the doctor doesn’t even show up until 9:10.” When I cooled down and was allowed in there was about 5 pages of paperwork that needed to be filled out. They did take my daughter back in a timely fashion. I do believe the place could be fixed up and cleaner. They had nowhere for a parent or guardian to sit, and you’re not even in a room.. you’re in the open where people walk through and can see. I will say, regardless of the incident - the front desk people were nice. I noticed they spoke Spanish which, is good for this area - making it accommodating. And the doctor was really kind and fast. We were in and out. Just don’t expect anything too crazy.
Negative experience: I am so surprised at how many stars this place got. Scheduled 3x and called every day up until the appt. And they confirmed each time. Came the day of the appointment all if sudden I never called and there was never an appt made. 3x this happen had to take her to the urgent care for her tooth at that point…
Fantastic experience: I had my husband here and they did amazing. Sent him home with antibiotics and referral. My husband can't stand going to dentist or doctor's in general but he said they were great with him. He actually can't wait to go back to next appointment. I would definitely recommend.
Positive experience: I arrived 10 mins before my 9am appt. Other folks were already there. At about 9:20 they start calling patients back. The desk called someone on the phone that was late and she walked in the door a few mins later. Then she gats called back. People that arrived after me get called back. At 9:50 I finally was brought to the back. At 10:35 they finally started my dental work. While I was still in the waiting area girl checked in saying she was a walk-in. The receptionist said they don't take walk-ins but they were slow so they'd make an exception. I don't think being behind is slow! Unfortunately this is one of only a few dentist offices that are accessible by bus and that's why people keep going and they'll continue to make people wait. This has been my experience every time I've gone to the dentist this is just my first time writing a review. Last month I was there for a cleaning and spent a total of 3 hours between the waiting room and sitting in the back. Then of course the time it took for the cleaning so probably about three and a half hours. So if you need to use this dentist's office make sure you block out your entire day.
Negative experience: I walked into Dental Dreams and sat down and honestly my first impression was, I wanted to walk right back out. I came along with my 9 year old son for his appointment. As we sat down, all I could here was the loud chatter from the 4 or 5 receptionists. They were speaking loudly as if they're were No patients in the room! Every 5 words was a curse! Gossiping about a past employee and why they didnt like her. Speaking about things that I couldn't believe they were saying out loud for not only Us parents to hear but our CHILDREN!! Me and the other moms kept glancing at each other, every time we would hear a curse word, or something we couldn't believe we were hearing. The entire time all I kept thinking was, is it after hours or something?? Theres NO WAY, a business would allow something like this. I was so happy my son had on head phones , i made sure the volume was up enough, so that he couldn't hear what was going on. If my son wasn't in pain, I would have completely walked right out. I called my husband fuming, debating if I should leave or not because I literally could not believe what I was hearing. As I was approaching the receptionist/desk after the appointment, one of the receptionist yawned, and said, ughhh im so tired and then points for me to goto someone else to check me out. She asked did I want to make a 6 month appointment? I said Noonoooo thank you. Who allows their business to be run this way??? Ive never seen something like this in what you would think is supposed to be a professional office...This is one way you lose patients/clients.
