I’ve been a long time patient of Dr. Rosenthal and he’s always had a wonderful beside manor and very informative and most importantly listens to your concerns and develops a treatment based on those concerns. He also has the absolute BEST dental hygienist Jessica who is the best part of getting my semi annual teeth cleaning and is the only person I ever let clean my teeth. Fantastic experience: I met Dr Dye for the first time today at Rosenthal Dental in Savannah. I had a specific symptom that needed investigation. My experience with him and the technician was outstanding. He ordered some X-rays, did a thorough exam of my teeth and entire mouth, discussed his findings and suggested a treatment plan. He was thorough and advised me of what the X-rays and his exam demonstrated. I found him to be a great communicator. I would highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Had a pleasant visit with Dr. Rosenthal today. The first time I've had a tooth pulled pain-free. Did not feel the numbing shot at all and only pressure from the extraction. He is very meticulous, thorough and gentle all at the same time. His office staff are so nice and helpful. His assistant, Tyler, made me feel at ease. The hygienist are all awesome as well. Fantastic experience: Once again, the folks at Rosenthal Dental Group treated me like a celebrity. They were ecstatic to see me when I walked in the door, checked me in and wanted to jump on me and lick me all over. Oh sorry, that's my dogs, Pepper and Spicy. I was met by Destiny, my Dental Assistant. I thought it was interesting because my title at home is the Assistant Floor Sweeper. Destiny was very friendly as we walked past several important Guards in a dark tunnel. Then when we arrived at the examining room, she placed a very short cloth apron around my neck and instructed me to lie down. Then she strapped my arms and lets in restraints... Sorry, that was the Almost Impossible Mission Movie. The Camp Commander came in the Examining Room, turned on a Bright Light which was quickly replaced with a TV which was blaring propaganda. I tried not to listen to it by removing my hearing aids, but it was useless. I could still hear the high pitch of the whining drill. Oh, he gave me a shot of Sodium thiopental in my mouth and said it for for my protection. Then the Camp Commander proceeded to repair a filling on my upper back right molar. When the Camp Commander was finished, Destiny escorted me back to the guard in the dark tunnel. The guards turned me upside down and shook change out of my pockets. Then allowed me to leave the camp. It was an exciting experience. I joke a little about this, but seriously, Rosenthal Dental Group is a very professional Dental Group, staffed with some fantastic folks. They have taken care of me and my families dental needs for many many years. AND, they really do treat me like a celebrity.

Fantastic experience: Rosenthal Dental Group is the best Dentist in town. Which also includes Dr. Dye. He and his team were amazing. Had 2 abscessed teeth pulled under sedation and it was an amazing experience especially considering my fears of having dental work done! Highly Recommend to all that feel the same! You will NOT be disappointed and believe me, you trust both Dr. Rosenthal & Dr. Dye and their staff. You can feel how they all love their job and their customers! Negative experience: I am the type of person who stops to talk to a manager about an employee who provided outstanding customer service. I've never written a bad review and am ambivalent about doing so now. Firstly though, Dr. Miles Yarbrough and his assistant Destiny were professional, congenial, and provided stellar service. I am an anxious dental patient and they managed to put me at ease. If I were to write a review based on them alone, I would leave a 5-star review. My concern is with the business aspect of the office. I have been in the Savannah area for two years and have been unable to find a dentist with whom I am comfortable and confident of service. Recently, I was in need of having a filling replaced in a non-emergency. I called well over a dozen dentists stating I was looking to have just that work done. Before contacting, Rosenthal Dental Group, other providers stated that I would need a full exam, or have to have a review done and then make another appointment to have the work completed. As I did with each of my prior calls, when I talked with Rosenthal Dental Group, I explained my needs and asked if they were able to provide just the filling without the ancillary work. The woman who took the appointment assured me that the work would be done in the one visit without charges other than for the filling. During my visit, a treatment plan person came in to go over what the bill would be. Unfortunately, there was a $120+ office visit included. She did offer what seemed to be a fair plan of $650 for two cleanings and a complete set of x-rays annually. If I chose that option, the practice would waive the office visit charge. I appreciate that they want to establish a repeat customer base. However, I am not one who can make that decision in the moment. Had the offer been made during my initial call, I am positive that I would have chosen the plan. Had I even been offered to think about it for a few days, I still would have gone back and selected that plan. It felt as though I were buying a car and the negotiated price was good for that day only. I thought I had been very explicit about additional charges during my call. Had I been informed of the office fee when I called, I would have continued calling other dentist without any rancor. The manner in which the fee was added though feels disingenuous and unethical. I politely mentioned the same as I checked out and paid the bill. I still am in need of a good dentist. It is a shame this situation occurred because as I said, Dr. Yarbrough and Destiny were exceptional. I would have enjoyed being a patient of the practice had I not left feeling duped. I am still recommending Dr. Yarbrough. However, please just ask more questions than I apparently did. If unexpected charges are important to you that is. Still not feeling great about writing a negative review. But I feel had I had this information prior to appointment, I could have made an informed decision. Knowing how good the doctor would be, I probably would have made the appointment. Please take this review in the spirit in which it is being written. Great Dr. and assistant. Ethics -- open to debate. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: I changed my appointments to 3x/year for an extra cleaning. The office personnel are all very professional, friendly, and caring! I drive 1.5 hours to come here because of the high level of service!

She did a great job showing patience with me. She definitely earned her pay today. I needed to totally understand . Glad I did opt for the savings plan. I would definitely recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: Rosenthal Dental is by far the best dentist office I have ever been to. Dr. Rosenthal is professional, listens to what your issues are and solves them in a proper and patient centered way. The staff at Dr. Rosenthal make the experience second to none! Gina at the front desk always is kind and responsive to calls and scheduling needs. Erica does a fantastic job as a dental hygienist. Tyler and Dina helped me so much as I went through Clear Comfort retainers to straighten my teeth. This place is amazing. Its weird to say but honestly the people here are so great I kind of look forward to coming in.

Fantastic experience: 10 years ago I had a broken bridge that needed repairing and my lifelong dentisr of 30 years passed away earlier in the year (God bless Doctor Kazlow). I chose to just go to the practice down the street from where I live. It took them four tries, four different visits, to get it right and each time they put me through excruciating pain. I became literally terrified of going to a dentist again. Recently, I had a tooth crack and I had no choice but to see a dentist. My father, when he lived here, used to see Dr. Rosenthal so I thought that the Rosenthal Dental Group would be my best bet. I am thankful that I chose them. Gina at the front desk made me feel much more at ease and she remembered every one of the numerous long time patients that came through the reception, speaking to them about family etc. When I was called back, the young lady who did my xrays was very nice and also made sure that I was at ease. When Macy, the dental tech, came back I could tell she was worried about hurting me and worried about my teeth….remember, I hadn’t seen a dentist in 10 years. Honestly, I was embarrassed after discovering how bad my teeth actually are and I felt bad for Macy having to deal with that. Macy took her time and really gave my teeth an in depth cleaning and exam and taught me several things about dental hygiene that I did not know in order to help my teeth repair and I have never, even with Dr. Kazlow, had a cleaning where I had absolutely no pain at all through it all. I am very thankful and impressed. When Dr. Yarborough came in to examine and give me the good/bad news about my teeth, you can instantly tell that he sees you as a patient that needs care, not a paycheck. He was thorough in his explanations and he told me that he would check all of my options after he did some research and try to make things viable for me. I go back soon to hear the results. I am very glad that I decided to go to Rosenthal Dental Group today.

Positive experience: Geena did a wonderful job of replacing my temporary bridge within the limited time I had for this visit. My hat is off to her. Everything went well with Dr. Rosenthal replacing the temporary bridge with my new, permanent bridge. He took the time to make sure that all the details were covered and placement was perfect.

Fantastic experience: My first visit to this dentist, I had the most gentle cleaning with Ana. She is fantastic! I needed a crown replacement and had that done yesterday. Tyler and Dr. Rosenthal were both wonderful! Highly recommend :)

Positive experience: I was initially drawn to this office because of its great reviews, and I want to emphasize that this feedback is solely about my experience with Julie, who answered the phone, and not the dentists themselves. Scheduling a consultation was incredibly frustrating. She repeatedly asked if I had insurance, even after I confirmed that I did, and her tone was consistently unpleasant. The final straw was when she asked whether my current dentist offered clear aligner services, which felt unnecessary. I ultimately decided to end the call. While my experience with Julie was disappointing, I don’t want this to discourage anyone from seeing the dentists, as the office may still provide excellent care.

Fantastic experience: It was to be a 2 1/2 hour appointment but I was there 4 hours. While everyone was great and extremely helpful, 4 hours is too long for anyone to sit in a dental chair even if things are comfortable. I’m sure they were aware that the time was excessive just as I was.

Fantastic experience: Dr Rosenthal is a top quality dentist who likes what he does. He is also very patient. I am happy to drive across state lines to see him. He cares about his patients and doesn’t want to see you uncomfortable. I have had major work done with him and have a little ways to go. But I am very happy we found him and I highly recommend his dental practice. His staff are all very professional, experienced and friendly. I especially love the southern charm of the ladies in the front desk:).

Jessica, the hygienist, was also great when doing my cleaning. She was so sweet and personable. I’ll definitely be back for future dental work.
